Tucked under the Story Bridge, a hidden gem in Kangaroo Point. Garnish is truly a truly unexpected multisensory indulgence. Formerly Butter Bistro, Garnish Bistro has already proven to be a great addition to the currently bouyant Brisbane dining scene. A mix of classic and modern creative European cuisine with a twist! Whether that twist is the remarkable knowledge and service provided by Maitre'd and Chef de Cave Michael Berger and his team or the culinary twist that chef Lachy Cashman has imbued in his fresh and fabulous innovative cuisine. Chef Lachy Cashman has a wealth of experience and passion for his art. His apprenticeship was completed at Brisbane’s own Michaels Restaurant, then it was on to the famous Salsa Bar at Port Douglas. Most recently he has received rave reviews in the food capital of Melbourne for his innovative yet classic take on fine European cuisine. Michael Berger hails from Austria and brings with him his experience and ideas working in some of Europe's finest restaurants. Had my Valentine's Day dinner at Garnish. What a delight it was. The degustation menu was gorgeous. What a perfect evening, paired with perfect wines. I will recommend again. It’s a must for anyone in Brisbane!

Excellent food, had the Moreton Bug Crepe and my partner had the antipasto and we both really n'joyed. For mains you have to try the Pork Cutlet it was incredible. To top it up there is a nice new owner that comes out and talk about the experience. The chefs are the Branigan or Bradigan brothers and are funny, passionate and make yummy dishes. Had a great time, will be back.

Outstanding! You will not find food better than this at a reasonable price in Brisbane. The service was spot on and the ambience brilliant (great music). This place is a must for any Brisbane Foodie.
