We were there on the night of "Dancing in the streets", so things were pretty crowded. The service was very good, considering the crowds. First time we've eaten in an Indian restaurant, so I can't compare the food to anywhere else. I can say, however, that we both enjoyed our meals, and were happy with the prices.
We will definitely return to this establishment, next time we are in BrisVegas.
Been twice and the first time it was an acceptable Indian food experience. But time 2 - blah.....it was a shocker, bland, bland, bland. Vindaloo and Korma meat were tough and the sauce very watery. Lentils.....no, just not right, to watery, no flavour. Naan Bread was average. However, maybe it was an off night so prepared to give it one more go.
We thought we would give this place a go after it had claimed to be " the best Indian food in Brisbane". This was a long way from the truth. The food was ok, I couldn't even call it good. The curries were luke warm and bland, the naan bread tasted like it had been bought in a supermarket and was overly bready. All five of us agreed that we had tasted better Indian in a food court in the shopping centres.
At an average price of $20 per meal and in a very competitive location, we expected better.
