Era Bistro prides itself in its excellent food, fine wine list and fantastic ambience. The cuisine is Modern Australian, served fresh at reasonable prices. The decor is contemporary with some retro hints. Era Bistro can accommodate up to 120 diners. It is perfect for large celebrations but is also intimate enough for a romantic dinner for two.

Was at Era recently for drinks only (but have dined here 2-3 times previously and have not been disappointed). Wine list is good, although a little pricey in some respects. The food has always been fantastic, and have no complaints about the waitstaff. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Entree arrived before our pre-dinner drinks which were Dacquiris and far too sweet, any lime at all. Scallops bland. Duck, cooked to chef's spec. was tough. Had to wait over 20 minutes for bill, then insisted on ID after producing a Centurion card! There has to be better!

I just love this place! it would have to be the best service for its kind in the area, and I would recommend the breakfasts there, as I haven't had better scrambled eggs bacon and gluten free toast anywhere. Great coffees, great wine list for lunch and is a perfect spot to take work colleagues or other business meetings to, as there is something for everyone.

I was desperately looking out for fine food during my last two days visit in Brisbane this week. Surprisingly many great recommended places are closed on Sunday. Era saved our day! It was not a crowded afternoon due to the rain. The manager (I assumed) was friendly and leave it to us where we want to sit, which I think its great cause some restaurant is so fussy about this matter.

We were quickly served by fabulous Cameron who recommended us fantastic red wine as I and my Dad wanted for our meal. Love the fig and olive breads they served before the meal. Oysters were fresh and yummie. We had lamb, duck and chicken. They were good but I would love to see more improvement on the dishes, especially the sauces.

Felt like its the same sauce under the chicken and the lamb. We skipped dessert. The Valdespino Pedro dessert wine was just perfect for me. I will definitely drop by to Era Bistro again.

Probably the best service we've ever had in Brisbane. Went here for Sunday lunch and there was a great little jazz band playing. I love how it has a real Queensland feel about this place, nice and open, relaxed and not pretentious. Definitely going back.
