Went here with a large group...steak was good. Other members of the group who had been there the night before said it was inedible and sent it back. Overall, good food!

Eating at Embers Steakhouse is a fantastic experience. First and foremost, the steaks are incredible. Not only is each and every meal perfectly cooked, but the meals are consistent time and again. It is one of the very few steak places that offers you the assurance that you'll get what you ask for, medium/rare always arrives medium/rare irrespective of the cut of meat that is ordered. The restaurant seems to have a very loyal clientele as I see the same faces over and over.

It is rarely packed as it is hidden behind the familiar coffee shops of Park Road. The wine menu is also extensive and is only bettered by what is not on the menu. I highly recommend perusing the blackboard wine specials as they often have small stocks of excellent quality wines. The owners also work there and can recommend wines to suit any taste, I suspect they run a restaurant just to sample great wines!

The service is always great and the girls know when to hover and when to be discreet. I recommend this place to all my work and personal contacts and have never heard a bad word, how many people can say that?
