El Taco is a small, family owned restaurant on the north side of Brisbane. For Mexican food in Brisbane, it doesn't get much better than this. They use shredded beef and chicken in all of their dishes which creates a far superior flavour to anything you might find at any of the larger chain Mexican restaurants. If you have any room left after your main meal, you should try "Mothers Own Mexican Steamed Cake", it is a wonderful fruitcake with many layers of subtle flavour. Possibly one of the best desserts available in Brisbane.
