Another overly noisy restaurant. Seriously, why can't people have some manners when they go out and keep the noise to a minimum? Anyway, I don't often go to Mexican restaurants but of the few I've been to, this is the only one where the entire food menu didn't consist solely of nachos, burritos, tacos and the like. Thank-you for showing us a side of Mexican cuisine beyond the stereotypes!

This is definitely my understanding of authentic mexican. Excellent value, punchy light flavours rather than the stodgy cheesyness we have come to expect from mexican in Brisbane. Dedicated staff and BYO drinks round off a great dinner.

This is such an amazing relief to eat here, after all, most Mexican Restaurants are more the American style Tex-Mex, this is authentic Mexican and Central American food. The vegetarian menu is sublime, the black beans and spices are so fresh and filling. The mole poblano (chocolate chicken), is very different and very tasty, I recommend you try this!

The service was polite and friendly, the owner, from El salvador is friendly and especially loves to have a chat with us Spanish speakers, very friendly. The prices used to be brilliant value but the last visit I noticed they had risen by about $3-4 a main so the value is average now but the food is still excellent. The atmosphere is busy and close to the street in West End, a real city eatery, don't expect a quiet place, this place rocks.
