We went to Efes for our Mothers group social outing. Although it was busy with large groups in attendance, Our meals were served within a reasonable time.
The food was fantastic. Our group all ordered Banquets which allowed us to sample most Selections from the menu. In particular the lamb cutlets were just divine. The quality and freshness of the produce and ingredients used enhanced all flavors of all dishes. The staff were friendly and efficient and our group
were very happy with our dining experience. We will definitely be rebooking!

An excellently authentic Turkish experience.

Efes One has great quality food and the prices are pretty decent. Don't come here expecting a massively-varied menu, come here for the lamb, lamb, lamb. Once you've tried it you'll surely return. Being owned and operated by Turks surely helps and the belly dancer is a more-than-pleasant distraction.

Some reviewers have negative things to say about the decor, but I say it doesn't matter. I would take a little bit of shoddy decor over pretentious faux-snobbery any day of the week. And besides, once your kebab is put in front of you, you'll not notice or care if the walls were to fall over, you'll be deep in the clutches of lamb-enduced nirvana.

The food here is very tasty and the quality is very good. I find the take away Pide's are very good value but eating in is not as cheap. Once we ordered a pide and were told it was not available, which was disappointing, then we ordered moussaka, and they told us 5 minutes later it was also unavailable. This was at 8 pm on a busy Satrurday night. That disappointment aside, what we ordered was very nice, and of fresh quality.

The staff are friendly and the belly dancer on the weekends in fun. I recommend but can get very busy on weekends so try early meal or weekdays I reckon.

Yum! I've been to a few Turkish restaurants in both Brisbane and Sydney, and really rate this restaurant. It really bridged the gap between too casual and fine dining with a non pretentious environment and a fun experience. We ordered the banquet. High vegetarian content in the entree's, which came out very fast. The mains took slightly longer, but the meat dishes were extremely juicy. I'll be back.

I always love the food here, so much so that it has become my takeaway of choice. Unfortunately, the prices of dine-in meals have just gone up so it's become more of a treat venue, despite it not being upmarket in ambience. I'd generally prefer to pay higher prices in a more plush environment. Having said that, when you need a flavour hit, Efes One has it in spades.
