True it is a bit 'steakhouse' in terms of decor but it is attached to a pub. The atmosphere is pleasant however. The service was solid. The baked goat's cheese in pancetta with sour dough, dukkah and pommegranite molasses was brilliant. My main was the braised rabbit orrechiette with truffled chestnut cream, basil and breadcrumbs and I loved it.

Come here for business dinners every now and then. Food quality is high and service, while slow, is professional and courteous. Reminiscent of high-end steak houses in the US and, therefore, a good fallback for business visitors from the US.

I have been to Deerys a couple of times lately, and have found the food, esp. the steak, to be excellent. The prices are pretty good compared to other
"steakhouses" in the area. The wine list is also good if a bit pricey, and the service is a little on the slow side but not too bad. The ambience does little for me and I wouldn't bring someone here for a romantic dinner for 2, but it's good for a group of friends etc who like steak!

We won't be coming back to Deerys due to poor table service, long wait for meals (40 minutes) on what should have been a quiet day (Thurs). Ambience is like going back 10 years.
