My partner and I ate dinner here on a Wednesday night. We started with garlic bread, with a glass of red wine, and a beer.

Then my partner had the Seafood Marinara, he said it was really good, fresh seafood, beautiful flavour, and the chef wasn't too light handed on the garlic, we Love garlic.

I had the Ravioli with pumpkin, it was delicious, it took both of us quite a while to finish our meals, they were pretty big servings, not the usual 2 pieces of pasta as a main.

We thought this place was a big more expensive than we are used to, but we enjoyed everything we ate that night, which is hard to achieve as my partner is a chef himself and is so hard to please.

We will definitely be back again, we also thought it was nice how the owner came and checked on us, adding a personal touch.

Definitely over priced, $17.90 for entree sized calamari and it's a small serve. The service was ok. The meals took forever and they didn't taste very nice. My husband had a stomach upset the next day. Won't be going there ever again.

I found this restaurant on google while visiting Brisbane with my family. I was told that there were few good restaurants in southern Brisbane, but this one is great. I've eaten Italian food in Lygon St and in Rome and the food here was as good as the best. My two fussy boys loved their food, the 9 year old had a complete adult serving of lasagna and my wife had the vegetarian lasagne. I had the rack of lamb and we all had the tiramisu, which is the best I've eaten.

I used to rave on about this restuarant when it was located in Calamvale. Waited with anticipation for its re-opening! What a waste and disappointment. Service was nothing to rave about. Firstly they forgot my order. 4 people - 3 orders came, one not to be seen. Finally arrived but prawns very gritty. When complained to the senior staffs, response was we'll look out for you next time! Are you kidding me, there will be no next time!

I ordered a takeaway lasagne. It was awful, firstly there was more bland sauce then anything else, I ended up eating it with a spoon. I have had lasagne from many restaurants and this was just horrible slop. It wasn't set as lasagne is supposed to be, it was a disaster.

There were lumps of tasteless mince in it, that had not been broken up, and it had been heated up in the microwave. I ended up eating about 5 mouthfuls and then I threw the rest into the bin. I rang the owner and explained my disappointment in this meal and he acknowledged that 'something must have happened in the kitchen that night' and that I was welcome to a complete refund of the lasagne.

On arrival at the restaurant I was given my refund then very quickly told by the very rude woman at the front counter, that 'obviously their food is not to my taste, and that I should not come back again'. I was blown away by this totally rude and uncalled for comment. I had made a legitimate complaint and I was told this? I won't be going back, neither are my many friends and family. Bad bad experience. And also the lasagne pictured on their website is far from the lasagne I was presented with last Friday night.

If I take my whole family out for a quality time it's got to be Cucina of Italy. Meal, Ambience/music, Service and Value all spot on and fine balanced.
Keep this standard folks even after the re-location. Thanks heaps.

We have been eating at this restaurant for years and have never had a bad experience. More traditional than most, it's great.

This is an excellent restaurant and highly recommended. It features real Italian food, not just the 'standard' pizza faire. The service is very good and the waiter we had was italian. The amount of food served was more than adequte, actually it was "oh gee, could you fit any more on the plate". The only slight issue might be the price, it is a little on the expensive side, but very worthwhile.

And yes, we eat a lot of italian, have italian friends and family, so we know what we're talking about!

The pasta was worse than frozen pasta bought from coles! The pizza was a little better but none of the ingredients are fresh! Even the herbs are all canned or dried herbs! This is the worse value for money italian restaurant I've ever been to!

The worst dinning out experience of my life! It ruined my Valentine’s Day. Between the bad wait staff, the more than 1 1/2 hour wait for our non-existence starters and the very rude lady at the front house who told me 'not too worried about it' when we decided to leave. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy!
