This is a terrific little gem hidden in the suburbs. The food is always fresh and the menu changes with the seasons. The service is always good, only on super busy nights has it ever slipped.

The modern take on Asian style food is fantastic. The flavours are always huge, fresh and punchy. They also are friendly to kids and serve a great kids meal, much better than the usual fried "chicken" nuggets and chips.

The service has always been good. We've been coming here for fours years and it's been consistently good. It's also not expensive for what you get. It is only slightly more expensive than the local greazy pasta and pizza places (both of which are exceedingly average!) and for a really lovely meal it's well worth it.

Food: Overpriced for what you receive. My partner's and my dish were both salty and had the one monotonous taste of soy sauce despite ordering very different dishes, both of which were also different than described in the menu. After about 3 bites I couldn't even finish my dish it was that unappealing.

Ambience: It feels more like a cafe than a restaurants and is very crowded with tabels and chairs and as such is very hard to manouvre to your seat.

Service: The worst part! Although seated immediately it took them far too long to take and deliver our orders, and when we finally asked for the bill, we had to ask about 5 different people, including the manager, and waiting 20 minutes before it finally came to us.

Value: Considering the crowded venue, the bad service, and bland food, it's not worth ruining your night out by eating here.

Tasty food, eaten there about 5 or 6 times, always reliable. Good service and excellent value. Spicy, fresh and modern menu.

Update: we ate there last night for their Songkran Banquet. $70 per person for 7 courses of brilliant food. Anyone who likes food with taste should try here. So many of our restaurants are average, this one stands out, consistently!

Eaten here a few times and the food has always been excellent. Fresh food with great flavours. Service is always excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I've been to Citron at least 5 times and I really like it. It is a little expensive and (am I imagining it?) the portions seem to be getting a little small but the food is very good: fresh, tasty, really quite excellent. Service is generally good and, yes, it is quite child friendly even though it is definitely a 'proper' restaurant. Very good atmosphere. Worth the money, but a little more on my plate please!

All the food was fresh, full of flavour and expertly prepared. The calarmari was delicious and well executed as was beef cheek and jungle curry. The service was friendly and efficient. The chefs are cute too!

Sensational food, the calamari and baby octopus entree is a must as well as the twice fried crispy chicken!! Service is fine, atmosphere is really nice. A great place for a romantic dinner. Is a little $$$ but worth every dollar.

Fantastic local restaurant with that Eagle Street Strip feel. There is something on the menu for everyone even for the children. I was really happy to see no 'kids fish & chips' but beef noodles or mild chicken curry. Although there were no other children present, ours were treated very well. Wine selection is good starting at around the $30 mark, however, BYO is available too! Perfect. Worth a visit.
