Saturday 7 June 2008, great night at Cisco's, food and service were flawless, the meals huge, value plus, and the atmosphere was enjoyable and entertaining, the lady singing was truly first class. We eat out alot and found this little gem to be a relaxing night out. Will go again.
I have always dined at Cisco's over 6 years untll sat the 15th, the food isn't like it use to be. We were left waiting 30 minutes just for garlic bread, our mains a burreto meal very dry where's all the sauce gone. This is the worst management I've seen. 3 years ago it was a great place to dine.
Having been a regular customer of Ciscos for the past 8 years or so, I had come to expect, beautiful food even though it had changed ownership once in that time.
The last time I ate there was for my birthday last year, the food as always was as expected, beautiful. I had the misfortune of eating there last night, after six months, only to find that new management and obviously a new kitchen staff, was not, what it used to be.
I ordered the same things, my favourites, as I always do, only to be bitterly disappointed, that although listed as the same meal, completely different, in look and taste. Not to mention the hour and a bit long wait alone for the entree. My reservation was for 7 pm, no entree until close to 8.30, then the main around 9ish???? It was a disappointment, and I will not be eating there again, and will not subject my friends by having another birthday party there again, which has earn Ciscos thousands in earnings over the years.
Being seated under an airconditioner and asking 6 times to have it turned down. The food arrived at the table as 1 person was finishing the meal as the last person was receiving it. Not only this but the staff did nothing but sit right outside the door and smoke all night. Disgusting service and I have had better food from a tin.
Ok yesterday I submitted a comment praising this restaurant, but now I am going to blast it as I went there last night (14/02/08) for the first time in 6 months! Cisco's is under new management (for the 3rd time) and it was the worst dining experience I have ever had. This use to be my all time favourite restaurant but not anymore! They also took down all of the decorations, which in my opinion made Cisco’s what it is - FUN! But the new lady manager had to completely change the place!
My partner and I decided to go there for Valentine’s Day as we have always loved this restaurant and food. The extremely RUDE lady manager and wait staff were appalling. We had to wait 20 minutes to get our first drink order, then they continually forgot our other drink orders, and not to mention the food being over an hour and a half (yes, 90 minutes!) late! After the first 45 minutes, we started to ask how long our meals were going to be, and every answer we got was “5 minutes”. Honestly, how hard is it to make Fajitas for 2?!
We ended up walking out, and only paying for our drinks. I am absolutely disgusted in the service, especially since this restaurant use to be so so well managed by the previous 2 owners. I have text everyone in my phone and have told them to stay clear, so I pass on the message to those who are reading: do not go to Cisco’s - you will be extremely disappointed!
