Being a patisserie, you would come here for one thing really, the baked goods. A larger selection of sweet things than savoury. The beverages are far from your mind. The only infuriating thing is that it shuts at 12.30 pm on Sundays, which is my lazy coffee day.

I had very delightful and light eclairs, tartlets and the most heavenly macarons here. The apple and cinnamon macaron was divine. Unfortunately, very limited seating, only 4 tables with 3 seats around each, one window seat. I can't really comment on the service. There were 2 staff and not too many people so it was efficient. So delightful.

A lovely Brisbane find, with world-class pastry! I had a goat's cheese quiche, followed by a chocolate macaroon and small lemon tart. Chouquette would be a lovely place to buy the bread for home, pastries for a special function, or a surprise birthday cake! Unfortunately seating is extremely limited, but service is very friendly and brisk. Chouquette is definitely worth a visit for something a little special.
