The food here has improved greatly over the last few months and our last few visits have been fantastic. The view and ambience are as wonderful as they have always been. The service has been a bit patchy but they are always friendly.

I have been a regular at La Mer for a few years now, and although the view is still the best around, I'm afraid the cafe now isn't. The cafe has had a change of hands and a change of heart, I do hope the new owners can bring it back to great food, friendly service and good value.

We went is just as they were cleaning up ready to close and they were still happy to serve us. The cake was delicious and very unique. Best thing about this cafe is definitely the location, on a deck overlooking the harbour.

Had a really great breakfast, the eggs were cooked to perfection!. The cakes are all made by the chefs, they look so original, so next time for me I think its afternnon tea, my friend was impressed to see so many gluten free things on the menu. The service staff were average though, but the deck and food are worth it.
