Probably the worst lunch experience I have ever had (and I did say this to the staff on my way out)! We ordered two teriyaki chicken sandwiches and a coffee. One sandwich came out with chips (which I thought was a bit odd as it didn't say this on the menu). We ate a few but they were seriously under-cooked. Then I realised the sandwich wasn't the one I had ordered at all, it was more like a chicken BLT.

I called over the staff and they tried to at first tell me it was the teriyaki. Then he asked if I had "had a bite", which I didn't think was relevant but answered "no, but I have touched it, you can't give it to someone else". He then disappeared to the kitchen and came back with "I think this is the Hana Rosa sandwich, which is much more expensive" aka "shut up and eat it you got a good deal". I was over it and just said it was fine.

Then we waited another 15 minutes for the other sandwich to come out. It was pathetic. Half of it didn't have any chicken at all. After two reminders then coffee still didn't arrive so I asked for the money back on the coffee and we left. Absolutely Awful!

Disappointing breakfast here recently. The big breakfast for $17 was two poached eggs served with one slice of bread, a reasonable amount of bacon, but only half a tomato and about a quarter of one chewy mushroom. And loads of lettuce to fill up the plate. I write this review in the hopes that they will improve the food because otherwise dining there had good elements - friendly staff, nice sunny cafe. Went on a Sunday morning at 9am and the place was almost empty, so I have a feeling they won't last long unless they pick up their game.

Very yummy drinks, but a little slow with the food, may have been due to a busy day. Definitely recommend this place and it's beautiful street front cafe.
