We had breakfast here today, which ended up being lunch as we waited over 2 hours for our food! The lady in charge was rude to most customers and Very rude to my husband when he went to pay and complained about the overall experience.

I highly recommend you go somewhere else if you want a pleasant experience and enjoy customer service, 2 things that the senior staff clearly does not care about!

Overall I'd say you ruined our day! It was quite an awful experience!

I chose Jade Buddha for my birthday dinner because of it's location overlooking the Brisbane River and because of it's reputation for great food. The waitress was very friendly and efficient, the view magnificent and the food was to die for. We all ordered a different main course and we all raved how good our meal was.

Two of us experienced a different dessert and I would have to say that the Seasonal Fruit in a Brandy Basket was divine, is one of the nicest desserts I have ever had. The only criticism would be the music from the Cove Bar out to the restaurant was too loud but being a Friday night I guess you can expect it to be a bit noisy but overall a wonderful night out with beautiful food. Went there for a birthday celebration. Asked for a price on the mudcrab platter and was eventually told $140. We ordered two of these and one was fine whilst the other had a crab which was completely empty and never should have been served. Instead of dealing with the problem the maitre de decided to ignore us and one of my guests overheard a chef referring to our table whilst using the 'F' word. They eventually offered a couple of free desserts which they then tried to renege on.
Long story short, we will never return.

A hidden little Gem! Like a diamond in the rough! Coffee is superb and all staff can make great freshly grinded cups of caffeine tailored to suit any customers demands!

Staff are bubbly and enthusiastic and always go out of their ways to ensure that the Versatile Chef exceeds your desired level of expectation. Belinda does a wonderful job. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a excellent cup of coffee and some morning breaky, and the prices are very reasonable!

Have been frequenting Mecca Bah for a good few years now. I've found the food to be of a consistent quality, i.e. delicious! The staff are always friendly, service is prompt (even when they're busy), the venue itself is gorgeous and ambient, and the food is always tasty, fresh and good value for money.

The only minor downside is that you can't make a booking. For larger groups on a Sat night for example, I am sometimes hesitant to go here. That said, whenever I've been there we've always been accommodated without much of a wait for a table. Definitely would recommend this place.

This place is incredible, they have renewed furniture, fancy chairs, luxurious chandeliers, entertainment programs, quality food and service it is the best place you can invite your guests or take your family to, all this with a reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

Not the most amazing looking place, but who cares, it is a vege/vegan place that makes lovely food. My only issues are the prices and sometimes uninviting staff... top nosh though.

May have been a bad night but not serving us the entree and salad we had ordered was a bad sign. A small bland risotto with broad beans without any obvious broad beans and a bland died out coral trout made us glad we had avoided the entree.

Staff were friendly enough but still tried to include the missing entree on the bill. Thank god for the great value Turkish restaurant Ahmet's we visited for lunch.

I ♥ Mado's! Yummy food, fast service, nice atmosphere. Waitresses were very friendly, owner was friendly and came over for a chat. We also gave smoking the Grape Shisha a go after dinner, we had good fun and it was Delicious! We will definitely go back again.

We enjoyed our experience here, the atmosphere and decor was lovely. I had the sherpa chicken based on the many other recommendations and I wasn't disappointed.

A bit expensive in terms of value for the food you are served. Ambience, great unless you are under the a/c in a walkway with chatting waiters nearby, note ask for a window seat. Service excellent, almost too good a little more time between courses would be good, felt rushed.

Food is excellent quality, small portions, well presented, generally wonderful flavour, but some bland and some over powering, watch out for the vinegar, have drink ready. Not a 10, but one of the best in Brisbane.

I was starving after paying over 200 for three meals. I thought emu was meant to be tender. It was as tough as Gandis sandles. However, it was an enjoyable experience.

I've been meaning to go to Eves for a while now, and the opportunity arose recently. Six of us caught up for a lazy weekend brunch at Eves just before Christmas, and we were not disappointed. Our meals were fresh and tasty, our special requests happily accommodated and the staff friendly. It was quite noisy and sometimes difficult to hear each other but on the morning we went the restaurant was at capacity. The prices are on the more expensive side. Overall a pleasant and positive dining experience. I'll be back.

Best steaks in town! have not tasted a more perfectly cook steak. It has certainly ruined me for anything but a chars steak! the sides were great and the service impeccable. Will be back, again and again and again!
