Went to Mondo for the first time and was extremely impressed. The service was superb, meals arrived quickly and we had a 3 course meal in just under an hour.

The food was excellent with proper portion sizes, the staff were friendly and attentive and the ambience was very pleasant. The only drawback was the cool wind but we were prepared and we had jackets, so nothing to really complain about.

I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience fine dining at a decent price.

We recently dined at Mondo Restaurant and it was not our first time, in fact we have been many, many times and once again the wonderful team has delivered with fantastic, lovingly prepared food, friendly service and a great wine list with lots of interesting and delectable varieties. The manager was very helpful with guiding us in our choice of wines and had an amazing knowledge, the wines matched perfectly with our meals.

In raptures with the entree and followed by the superb mains, I couldn't help but comment that this was the best meal I had ever eaten at any restaurant before, the table agreed with me.

What most impresses me about Mondo is their integrity and passion in providing a wonderful dining experience with healthy, quality organic food and that they truly care about their customers...Fantastic.

Appalling! My wife and I love to dine out at Brisbane's best, and had heard good things about Mondo. We arrived for our Saturday night reservation and were given a table directly under an industrial fan. The wind from the fan was blowing directly in my face, and we couldn't converse without raising our voices. We asked if the fan could be turned down. No. Can it be turned off? No. Can we have another table? No - even though there were many vacant tables.

Ok, then we are going elsewhere. Fine, they say, see you later. We say, no thanks we won't be back. We went to Restaurant Two in the city instead, and had awesome food with incredible ambience for the same price. Seriously, how can Mondo charge top dollar for such poor surroundings and such rude and arrogant service? Enter at your own risk.

Not the most amazing looking place, but who cares, it is a vege/vegan place that makes lovely food. My only issues are the prices and sometimes uninviting staff... top nosh though.

Best ramen I had so far in Brisbane. Very nice home made noodle and tasty and good variety of soup base. Will go back again definitely.

Probably the worst lunch experience I have ever had (and I did say this to the staff on my way out)! We ordered two teriyaki chicken sandwiches and a coffee. One sandwich came out with chips (which I thought was a bit odd as it didn't say this on the menu). We ate a few but they were seriously under-cooked. Then I realised the sandwich wasn't the one I had ordered at all, it was more like a chicken BLT.

I called over the staff and they tried to at first tell me it was the teriyaki. Then he asked if I had "had a bite", which I didn't think was relevant but answered "no, but I have touched it, you can't give it to someone else". He then disappeared to the kitchen and came back with "I think this is the Hana Rosa sandwich, which is much more expensive" aka "shut up and eat it you got a good deal". I was over it and just said it was fine.

Then we waited another 15 minutes for the other sandwich to come out. It was pathetic. Half of it didn't have any chicken at all. After two reminders then coffee still didn't arrive so I asked for the money back on the coffee and we left. Absolutely Awful!

The noodles were interesting and different from other Ramen places. It was nice and cooked al dente it seems. It is small, but I was full by the time the dish was finished. I'm pretty small so for anyone else, I'd recommend an upgrade.

I came here a 2nd time, I had the Tonkotsu (again) but found that the soup base wasn't hot enough, and just warm. I suppose you need to eat it quick. I find the Ramen here much more expensive than the ones you get in Sydney.

An absolutely lovely evening with great food. Best butter chicken I have ever had. Service excellent. Very attentive but not overbearing. Portions were huge does justifies the Price to be "reasonable". It was nice when the chef himself came out to greet us and ask how our dinner was, If you're looking for a good authentic indian restaurant for a family night out, with good value and good service this is a must.

Both of our (very different) curries tasted exactly the same. That taste was of tomatoes and pretty much nothing else. I didn't think it was possible to get butter chicken wrong, but they managed. I've honestly had better butter chicken from a jar. And for $20 a curry, that's completely unacceptable. We had a 2 for 1 voucher (which they Very begrudgingly accepted) and we were Still unhappy with the price!

The service was hilariously inept. They barely said a word of greeting or thanks upon arriving and leaving. When we went to pay they stared at us expectantly, without saying a word for literally 10 seconds. Time passed. It was awkward.

In short, we've never been to a more hilariously inadequate restaurant. We had been here before under the old management and loved it, and were very disappointed with the new management's...everything. We won't be going back.

I used to own "Punjabi By Nature International at 102 latrobe Tce Paddington" (old management-Premish) I was the chef as well.

I have sold the restaurant RESTAURANT at Paddington and moved to ASHGROVE, this listing is for Punjabi By Nature Indian restaurant in Ashgrove.

1. Punjabi By Nature Indian Restaurant HAS NO BRANCHES EXCEPT AT 10 STEWART ROAD AT ASHGROVE.

I would say please remove this review as this is not right. as it is NOT THE RESTAURANT YOU HAD FOOD AT.
