When reading reviews I always take into consideration the fact that competitors could have written them. Well I have to say that after dining at Rosa's I have now experienced first hand the rudeness that the other reviewers complained about. I can't believe that this guy still has a job, talk about rude and condescending. Sorry mate but my friends and I won't be back. And the food isn't anything to write home about.

Great Food and Service. We had a voucher that gets you a free nachos with main meal. We had the beef nachos which the beef was a bit chewy but for a free meal who can complain. Have been back since and tried the chicken nachos and bean nachos, enchiladas and nearly every thing else on the menu. All is tasty.

I love the salad with the Jalepinos in it. Value for money, love the jalapeno poppers. Being a new restaurant I understand it's a lot of $$ to fork out for decoration but I would love to see a bit more mexican junk around the place for a bit more atmosphere.

We booked a week in advance for 12 people. The group arrived at 7.30 pm to find a table for 10 with bench seats. We squeezed two more on to the benches so it was not comfortable. We ordered drinks but they did not come until a waiter was chased up.

We ordered food and the last person's plate finally arrived in front of them at 9.30. That is 2 hours after we arrived. Everyone else had eaten as their food arrived and it was about 15 minute’s difference between the first person’s plate and the last. It would appear that the kitchen cannot cater for the number of seats in the restaurant when it is full.

The food was standard Mexican fair and reasonably good although I had filled up so much on drinks waiting for 2 hours that I was not hungry by the time my meal appeared.

Horrible service, rude management and possibly the worst mexican food in Brisbane. Booked for 6 people 2 weeks in advance and confirmed the booking the day before only to be told that there was no table for us when we arrived. Opted to wait the 30 minutes for a table to be available. Never bought menus to us had to fetch them ourselves, drinks that were ordered failed to turn up, wrong meals brought to the table after waiting for 45 minutes had to wait a further 30 minutes for the correct meals to arrive.

No apologies from either staff or management and when we spoke to the senior staff he was rude and suggested we dine elsewhere in future if we were not happy. I'm sorry but if you fail to provide the most basic service to diners then you will find that all your customers will be dining elsewhere which is exactly what we intend to do.

I recently went to this restaurant on the weekend and was very impressed. I have been to Spain 4 times and also been to the trendy Spanish Tapas restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney and can say Granada wins hands down. The service was great and the meal sizes were fantastic and would recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. I just wish there was one in Sydney now.

I have dined at Pepe's in Jindalee several times and each time has been worse than the last.

There is a sign at the door advising customers to wait to be seated. Usually my partner and I have stood at the door or at the counter for several minutes waiting to be seated while staff members avoid eye contact as they walk past. Other staff members can be seen in the kitchen checking their phones or behind the counter having a drink but unless you make a point of waving someone down, the terribly trained staff will not acknowledge you.

On my last visit, I waited to be seated, while the staff exhibited the above behaviors and other customers walked in, seated themselves and received service from the few staff members actually working. When I noticed that people were seating themselves and staff were ignoring us, we left and went two doors down to the fantastic thai restaurant, where they never ignore you and food is always fresh.

If by chance you visit this restaurant and manage to be seated, do not hold high hopes of a fresh or impressive meal. My meals have been okay, usually, though quite bland. I eat vegetarian and don't enjoy very spicy food so, perhaps, their more adventurous dishes are more appetizing. However, I do think that if you can't make a bean taco taste fresh then you're doing something wrong.

Often my meals have something very wrong with them. Twice I have had stale taco/tostadas, and even though they are toasted you can still tell they are stale. I have also been served expired or off avocado guacamole. I wasn't given the opportunity to send it back to the kitchen because once the staff Finally delivered our meals they never returned to the table.

Staff will avoid looking at you or checking on your table, probably because they know something is wrong with most dishes. When I advised the cashier of the bad guacamole he apologized yet would not remove it from the bill.

Prices are ok, but for what you pay it is reasonable to expect fresh food and good service. For the suburban area and the poor quality of food and service their prices should be much lower.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I don't know. How they are still in business. Probably the beer and taco specials they do. If people get drunk quickly, they probably don't notice they are eating nonsense. I can only recommend that the owners improve their food suppliers, replace their kitchen staffs and hire some staff with experience. I do also recommend that until this place improves, go to the Thai place because their food is awesome.

Ignored when we walked in. Waited 1 hour 20 mins for main, in that time other tables which had arrived with us, ate and left. Enquired where the food was and waitress did not come back. Food arrived enjoy! But no cutlery! Food was bland not a hint of seasoning, Mexican and no chillie. OH yes and the smallest Buffalo wings this side of the Rio Grande. Was annoyed to pay the bill, average service, average food, voting with my feet, will not be going back.

Rosalie. First visit, great food and service. 2nd visit, absolutely the worst service and the food was cold and bland. Very very disappointing. We won't be back.

Go to Granada restaurant if you want to be judged by the owners and then insulted by the wait staff. I had previously been to Granada a couple of times and invited some colleagues to drop in after a work function. I ordered some cocktails and tapas and after we sat down we were interrupted by the wait staff who told us that we had to pay upfront before receiving any food or drinks. When I asked if they didn’t believe we would pay or what their reasons were for this treatment the wait staff said it was the owners decision. Then the owner came over and when I asked if the restaurant had changed their process with ordering food she became extremely embarrassed and back peddled and blamed the wait staff for the whole incident. I love eating out in Brisbane and have never been treated like this by any establishment, be it high end dining or in a more relaxed environment. Do not go to this restaurant!

I am so sad to report my experience lately has been the same as many below.
We would go to Dos Amigos at least once a week, we used to take our friends and family here also.

Lately I have to say the service is pathetic. The food is not as good as it used to be either, they spent money on upgrading the place to down grade their service. The last 3 times we have been we have not been served even drinks for at least 30 minutes.

The waitresses are horrible little girls who are so rude they just laugh at you when you wave your hands asking for a drink! Once our order (including drinks) was lost and we were only told when after 45 min I asked where my cocktail was (this was a monday night, there was only 3 tables occupied).

The last time we decided to go to this place we had to walk out because we had been waiting nearly an hour without drinks or entree on a weeknight, the stupid waitress just giggled when we asked to see the manager.

It makes me so angry that this happened because all of our friends and family loved this place but now we wont be back. Looks like we will be going to Rosa Mexicano in rosalie / kenmore from now on.
