Booked nice and early to ensure a seat for 2, was looking forward to the newly appointed head chefs meals after numerous disappointing dining experiences in the past, only to wait 90 minutes to be told we have 30 minutes until our meals will be ready. Sorry have to pick children up before then.
This is only to add to other bad experiences at this venue, with worst of all my flexi card being stolen when paying for a meal. We thought maybe things may have changed but, this is coming from a local who will never return. Great venue, terrible ability to put things together, pity for Kenmore.

Went out to the Red Brick last Saturday night and had a great time. Had a few snacks and drinks with friends. Was just a nice place to lounge for a while. Give it a go!

Went there last night. My Seafood Basket was disappointing being a few chips, garden salad and a couple of seafood bits on a plate for $26! The other meals seemed fine. Main benefit here is for families with kids as there is an entertainment room and playground. Otherwise not great.

Monday Night Wings Review. Having recently moved up to Brisbane, we were glad to have found The Fox and Smokehouse BBQ. We have probably eaten there eight times now and consider the Wings on Monday night to be the meal available, even ignoring their almost give-away price. The pork ribs are fantastic, the pulled-pork very good and the beef ribs quite good, but the Wings, and especially the dry seasoning ones are truly great.

Lunched here recently. Service was ordinary and attitudes of the waitstaff were apathetic. It was a quiet day, not many other diners or large parties. Despite this, it took forever for our meals to arrive. Our meals were below average in quality and Very overpriced. Don't bother going there. I'll never go back that's for sure, such poor value for money.

Tried The Belvedere twice. I was served by bogans. Had grissly steak, bugs that looked more like smashed crabs and scallops in shell that you needed a magnifying glass to see. Overpriced dressed-up meals. Won't be back.

Mild curry snapper was very hot was kindly replaced but with a very odd curry sauce and definitely not snapper in the second dish (?? bream). The waiter did not check to see if the second dish was satisfactory, I thought was poor.

I really like this place. I had a superbly-cooked lunch of Lamb cutlets with fresh pita bread, a yoghurt dip and a fresh greens salad. It could not have been better.
The ambience is great, you can sit inside or outside, either under the verandah or in the garden, where you can watch the passing pedestrian promenade. Talking to the staff, their commitment to fresh, healthy food and to a genuinely sustainable, low impact operation is very impressive. In my eyes that adds real value to this experience. I also reckon that this integrity, quality and value for money is unusual for South Bank, where over-priced, poor quality food and service are only too common.

Dined here last night. The dark cloud started to form when the table beside us was being served mains when we were being seated. Within 5 minutes, half the mains went back. The garlic breads were very nice, however, when the stock man's pie came out, all the mashed potato was seated on top like a pyramid.
Once this was removed to get to the pie, I found a watery substance which I still haven't found a suitable description for, with chunks of meat. Now I've called it meat until I went to chew it. First mistake. Putting the meat back on the plate, I attempted to cut it with a knife and fork. Second mistake. The meal price was refunded. My Wife ordered medium-medium well rib fillet. Unforgivably the same meat as the pie was used for her. The Daughters meal was fine.

I've gone a few times, generally before a football match. The pub itself is huge and often raucous. The menu is large, I've had pizzas, snacks and the mezze plate and all were quite could (I haven't braved the expensive steaks). The most notable thing is the plethora of TVs, once I could view from my seat 4 TVs directly and 3 TVs in reflections, showing 5 different football matches between them.

Nice place for a beer overlooking the bay. There have been renovations but it's still a bit of an old school pub. Food last time (burgers and chickens) was good, except for the chips which were terrible.
