Really good. I own a restaurant in Melbourne and recently visited Ole for lunch. Well executed food, good service. Nice location. Only probs were no bread for a mysterious half hour, c'mon guys just bake or buy more! Also my credit card was double charged, minor stuff though, I will be back!

Beautiful setting overlooking the newly renovated River Quay in Southbank, it was not too hard to resist stopping for a glass of wine and coffee. However, this is where the pleasant experience stopped.
The staff were either overworked or we did not fall within their demographics. Being first time visitors to the restaurant we were unsure if we had to wait to be seated or if we ordered at the counter. The bar staff wouldn't make eye contact with us but me managed to find the one and only waitress who ushered us to the table. She took our order but we were approached by another waiter who advised us that being Good Friday, and having purchased one glass of wine and two cups of coffee, plus a bowl of $9 chips (by law you have to order food if purchasing a drink) that the bowl of chips was not substantial enough and that food must be eaten with a fork.
Considering that only one person was drinking it did not seem feasible that the two coffee drinkers should be forced to also purchase food. We cancelled he drink and chips opting instead for 3 coffees. What baffled us though, was every other table was drinking and either only had one bowl of chips of a loaf of bread with condiments? When we queried the waitress, it would appear that the rules had changed within 5 minutes of us ordering.
We sat and listened to the waitress seat another table and not once did she mention to them that for each alcoholic drink purchased then a plate of food should be purchased.
We were very disappointed with the treatment we received as it was not consistent with what was happening around us, in fact there was a large group of people hanging at the bar and not a plate of food in sight.
Coffee was pleasant but left a bitter taste in our mouths, we won't go back again and based on our experience would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was overpriced- $19 for 4 prawns and it was nothing special- just 4 prawns BBQ cooked. Waiter was not very friendly. Waited 1 hour to get our meals. Positive was the meat balls were nice. Not the tapas you get in Spain though thats for sure.

My husband and I had lunch today and were really impressed. A great selection of fresh foods, something for everyone I would have thought. Desserts were a little bit of a let down on everything else (bit of "boxed cake" to it) but frankly, we were so full at that point it really didn't matter. Really enjoyed the little pot of chocolate mousse and the bread and butter pudding, the perfect finish. Also appreciated the readily available chilled water bottles for the table, served with a warm smile. Thanks guys! We'll be back!

The service is beyond disgraceful. I have given it a go with friends and clients 4 times now, on 2 occasions, I actually asked if they'd like us to leave given the absolute disdain with which we were being treated. The male bartender on one occasion had the filthiest fingernails I have seen and who wants a drink made for $1 or $100 by someone that unhygienic.
Bar of the Year in Brisbane 2011? That's a one off. A little bit too cool for school might get you half way there but won't result in a sustainable business.

Simply awful. I have tried Canvas on a number of occasions each time hoping it would be worth the visit. I am a Gabba local and proudly support the area but this place needs to go. The staff are rude, disinterested and just don't care.
There are far better options available in the area where the staff are friendly, the food is good and they are happy for your patronage.

I found the seafood buffet to be great value for money! There's a vast range of foods and the quality is great! I've been to the $50 seafood buffet somewhere else and the range was woeful! Broncos is so much better and so is the price.

Had my Valentine's Day dinner at Garnish. What a delight it was. The degustation menu was gorgeous. What a perfect evening, paired with perfect wines. I will recommend again. It’s a must for anyone in Brisbane!

With a party of 8 we had breakfast at this bar last weekend. Beautiful location. We had great expectations, however, we were let down in a number of ways. Although there were only 3 or 4 tables occupied they managed to lose our coffee order and we had to check on the order after waiting quite some time. They then lost one of our meal orders.
Food was expensive $17.95 for mushrooms on one piece of toast. When we went to pay we were told they would not split bill. We were given a small print out docket to work out our account. Emailed the senior staff to express concerns but there was no reply.

This place does tapas But the tapas is practically invisible on the plate and costs between $18 - $22 for one! This is not tapas portion sizes, this is one bite size but for a main meal price. And it was bland, I had the duck filo, it was boring and very dry, I sat there adding salt just to have some flavour. One of my friends had the chicken scroll, again no flavour and 3 about the size of a 50c piece.
They also charge $10 per 40grams of cheese, this is not in a proper cheese plater with fruit and nuts etc - that's just for cheese and bread. Plus the service was blah. I haven't been to a place this bad in a long time, at least most places only charge heaps if their food is exceptional - Not this place.

Food was good but the service was Atrocious! On a quiet Thursday evening it took nearly an hour and a half before we got our main meals. Three times we were told the food would be ready in 5 - 10 minutes. Won't be back.

I went to Logan Diggers on Sunday 11 December 2011 with my partner and his work colleagues for a Xmas lunch. There was nothing Xmas about it. Cold vegies, 1 potatoe, and 3 slices of processed ham all for the paltry sum of $25.00 It was disgraceful and a total rip off. I asked for a Irish Coffee (coffee, whiskey and some cream on top), but nobody knew what it as. Never again will I go to Logan Diggers... Heed this warning people.
