I chose Bravo Bar|b|que for a birthday dinner for a meat-loving friend. The first impressions were great, with friendly service and good atmosphere. Everyone on my table ordered a steak and when they came out they all looked delicious. Unfortunately it seemed to go downhill from there- all our steaks tasted burnt and bitter. The sides were nice, but I couldn't overcome the bitter steak. Our water also seemed to have been served in an improperly rinsed wine bottle, so tasted like diluted wine. It was disappointing and we won't go back.

I was in Brisbane on business and wanted to go somewhere decently priced with good quality food and service. I looked up many reviews of restaurants around South Bank but decided on Bravo bar B Q given the reviews I saw on this site.

Glad I decided on this place it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Brisbane rarely rates as a city with good restaurant experiences, but I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a decent meal (steak, seafood and game grills). The mixed seafood grill was amazing as was the salmon I had. Teamed with the delicious potato and other side-dishes included, you're definitely on a winner with most dishes around the $30 mark, except of course the wagyu steak.

The wine list was slightly on the pricey side but at least one bottle per variety was available for under $40. Service was good, and the food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. It is set back off busy Brunswick st, so it is calm and a joy to sit outside. Would highly recommend this place.

Perfection is an understatement, loved this restaurant and will be booking again at the first sight of anyone's birthday/going away party/any celebration I set my eyes on!

What a round of starters! we had duck pancakes, the best spring rolls I have ever had and average pork ribs. For me, the main let the experience down. Overseasoned and under cooked pork cutlet. I won't be rushing back
