After reading Bombay Bliss reviews I was tempted to try it out. I found the restaurant expensive for what it offers. Food was ok, not that great, at least not authentic. More suited to the international palate. Not that great value for money.

Having eaten at several Indian restaurants in Brisbane, it is fair to say that Bombay Bliss provides a very special ambience for customers. The place is very well set out and the feel rather authentic. The disappointing part of the experience was essentially that of the food.

The serves were rather small and the taste much comparable to other Indian cuisine establishments. The mains were disappointing, I was quite taken aback that the portion of a butter chicken main dish had about six bite size pieces, and that was priced at $19.90. All up 2 small entrees, 2 mains, 2 naan breads and 3 serves of rice came to $75.

In a nutshell, if you're looking to impress someone this is the place to go. If you want to have a good serve of Indian food, this is probably not the best value in town.

Had beef roganjosh as part of the take-away package for two. Very good flavours, beef not quite melting. ''Medium" heat was just right for us. There was plenty of food for the two of us. Very happy. Will return again.

This is the best restaurant in Brisbane, they serve what you call "authentic Indian food" and not what some other restaurants service, western style Indian food.
The service is great and the food is delicious. The ambience is fantastic and once you visit it you are sure to re-visit shortly after. Thumbs up!
