The menu has changed since I first visited, I found the food not as nice and the seafood selection is limited. I visited recently with 6 friends and we all agreed that we would not be coming back in a hurry.

After 'attempting' to dine at Brisbane's 'finer' restaurants, My wife and I resorted to a buffet restaurant. I thought "Oh my god! It has come to this! I have to resort to slop on a plate" I was informed by my colleagues in Melbourne that Queensland is only good for buffet's. Well, I would like to disagree. But given my experience in Brisbane I am siding with my colleagues.

Anyway, I will put aside the fact that my wife and I felt like our stomachs were about to abandon us. Blackjacks was value. Thoroughly enjoyable and relieved us of the stress we went through trying to find a 'high end' restaurant. It was reasonably priced, with alot of variety on the well presented buffet.

It is a credit to the Chefs who work at Blackjacks. It may only be a buffet, but when we visit Brisbane again and are faced with the inevitable 'does this city have decent food at a good price' (said with a few more profanities, as our stomachs thought our throats had been cut and our wallets felt the burn just from looking at the menus offered).

We will certainly be returning to Blackjacks. Recommended.
