Best pizza in town! Would love to see more traditional Italian entrees like bruscetta or so. We went there on a Friday night, people were queuing up for a table. (They take no reservations) The manager was quite friendly and offered us to have a drink in the pub across the street. He gave us a ring within the promised time as soon as the table was available. And as I mentioned: Best pizza in town yet.

Always excellent food and service. In the 10 times over the past few years that I have eaten here I have never had a bad experience. This is my favorite. If only it was BYO I would eat here every night!

I have always regarded Beccofino very highly, and have dined in this restaurant on several occasions. The pizza there is truly authentic, and the pasta dishes are just perfect. However, my dining experience ended two days ago when my friends and I were brutally insulted by the manager himself. As we were a large group, my friend had ordered on behalf of everyone, and went through the menu with the manager.

For some reason, miscommunication had occurred between them, and we were given more food than we ordered. Although we were aware of this situation, and stated to the waiter and manager that we will pay every cent of our meal regardless of the mistake, the senior staff quickly become very impatient and hostile towards us.

Later when we had requested to double check the bill, the senior staff shouted, “I am very annoyed right now. We’ve been through this tonight, and we know there’s been a misunderstanding. Now this is embarrassing for me, and for you. I have several people lining up outside wanting to come in, so I want you and your friends to get out of here. Twenty of you come in to my restaurant, and not a single person ordered wine or even a soft drink. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’ll serve people like you. Never! So it ends today. For as long I am here in this restaurant, I will never cook food for you or your group again!”

Obviously, the senior staff’s reaction towards us had shocked everyone greatly, and we were immensely hurt by such dreadful attitude. It saddens me deeply that as a previous loyal patron of Beccofino, we had to endure this kind of poor treatment and disgrace from the senior staff himself, despite the fact that we had always recommended this place to our friends and colleagues. From what had happened, I would only suggest this restaurant to people who do not mind paying good money for a meal with complimentary rudeness and arrogance, and welcome the experience of being unfairly judged, criticised and discriminated by the food they order.

Always a winner with amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. The ragu is incredible as is the risotto. The pizzas are excellent and can also be ordered to take away.

The service left a bitter taste in my mouth. I have been to Beccofino many times the food is always great, however on a few occasions I have noticed one of the owners being insulting & rude to other waiters in front of customers, This is not how an employer should treat its staff.

My last experience at Beccofino left me speechless, after this same owner told one of my guests to "get the F@!% out, the heaters are for paying customers" once again in front of other customers. This occurred while waiting at the entrance for a table.

The food is consistently great, the service is good however the attitude of the owner is unfitting for the Hospitality Industry. The Restaurant would be 5 stars if he was a silent partner, in more ways than one!

Excellent pizzas (hard to find a better Margherita) and really good pasta (especially the Conchiglie). Try the carbonara. Good seafood and a good wine list. This restaurant works on the tried and trusted formula of fresh ingredients, dependable recipes and care in the kitchen. Lovely outside when it's not too cool, great corner with big trees all around and the funky sounds of Teneriffe. They don't take bookings so be prepared to wait a bit - longer on busy end of week nights. It's worth it.

I was very disappointed by all the hype surrounding Beccofino's pizzas. We ordered the prosciutto and the prawn pizza. That's basically all they had - dough, tomato base, bocconcini, prosciutto and rocket... the prawn was the same except minus the prosciutto and rocket and replace with prawns. Very, very bland tasting - no herbs to top it off, no capers, no garlic in the tomato sauce... hmmm am I missing something here? I know light, crusty pizzas is the way to go, but this is really exaggerated.

As for the service, it was just normal. Nothing more than the norm, no special effort or friendly smiles, just normal service.

Oh yeah, and the $20 we paid for each pizza seems rather reasonable since we purchased prawns and prosciutto, but I would definitely recommend rechecking their service and the final touch on those pizzas - they have the perfect setup for something amazing.

I first went to Beccofino on the strong recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint. The food at Beccofino is astoundingly, indescribably good. Add a superb atmosphere and very reasonable pricing and it's my top pick of all Brisbane restaurants. I've been there, perhaps, 15 times now and have never been let down by anything. Very highly recommended.

Amazing pizza and coming from a pizza snob, this means thin and tasty bases, limited and delicious toppings, awesome! Great night with friends, wine and laughter and a sublime pannacotta!
