Food: What wonderful, tasty food! Generous servings which are produced swiftly.
Ambience: A lovely warm feeling to the venue makes it a comfortable place to sit and relax whilst enjoying a beer or wine and indulging in some tasty treats.
Service: The waitstaff were friednly, polite and quick to take our orders. The food was produced quickly, which we were quite amazed at, but it still tasted amazing.
Value: Definitely worth a visit or two - we can't wait to go back!

Been there 8 times and the food is the best you can find around Brisbane. The burgers give you new idea what burger can be. The falafels is so good and the onion puff is the best ever. Can't do without you Babu. Thank You for your delicious food. See you soon. Best burger in town.

We visited Babu after a friends recommendation. I only wish we had gone there earlier. The burgers are fantastic, tasty, big, extremely fresh and cooked to how you like e.g. med-well done for me! They offer a range of Mediterranean dishes which I'll try next time. Definitely highly recommended.

Nothing special, Food ok, quick service but didn't see anything that this last review is talking about. They should concentrate on making better burgers.

I decided it was time to check out Babu Burger and Grill after a number of glowing recommendations from friends, and needless to say I was not disappointed. We arrived in a group of four on a busy Friday night and were cheerily greeted by Eyal, the restaurant owner and head chef. After chatting with him for a few minutes we were promptly seated and given our menus.

Upon first glance, the food seems to occupy two distinct worlds. As the name suggests, burgers are definitely one of the key attractions at Babu. But burgers are only half the story. The other half of the menu contains a mishmash of tasty-sounding dishes incorporating Mediterranean, North African, and Middle-Eastern flavours.

For our entree we ordered two serves of Traditional Mini Falafels. Now, these are not the kind of falafels you might find in a dodgy kebab shop. Babu’s falafels are made with fresh lamb mince and chickpeas, and served with a tangy yogurt dressing. Delightfully more-ish.

For the main I ordered Zorba the Greek, a 150 gram beef burger with grilled eggplant, feta cheese and fried mushroom. The beef patty was tender and juicy, with a subtle hint of cumin and seeded mustard. The addition of feta cheese and eggplant also added a welcome dash of Mediterranean. And if 150g is a bit small for you, try the 300g Grand Babu. I wasn’t quite game, but my companions spoke very highly of it.

Service at Babu is polite without being stuffy, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. But most of all, the food is excellent and very inexpensive. Our bill totalled only slightly over $20 per head, which is great value considering the quality of the ingredients. I didn’t get a chance to sample the larger mains, but the Eye Fillet and Bacon Shish Kebab looked especially enticing.
