Spaghetti marinara is very good! the chicken wings are also really good, not usually a fan of chicken wings but theirs are worth trying! Service is mostly good except last time the waiter was annoying so we decided to try mundo instead.

From what other people have said, I'm not sure how "authentic" it is but the two dishes I have listed are very good. Have eaten in Italy and lygon street and haven't actually found a great italian restaurant, but these two dishes are comparable. Other dishes we have ordered weren't as good.

Went here last saturday night and was delighted with our experience. We ordered gluten free garlic bread and 2 gluten free pastas.

The bread was amazing and the pastas were absolutely massive! The both had great flavour and the gluten free pasta they used was very nice. Its great value for money and I definitely recommend to everyone. We had a table of 4 men sitting next to us and they were unable to finish their meals as they were so big.

Service was prompt and pleasant. Gelati is amazing as well, a massive selection. I recommend the macadamia.

I have eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants both here, in Adelaide and in Italy and I have to say this is one of the worst I have ever been to. I ordered the Avanti fettuccini. The dish lacked flavour and was too dry (not enough sauce). My friends had the lasagna has a flavour not unlike cheap ones you get at supermarkets (?), the pasta was overcooked and again the flavour was lacking.

My wife ordered the cannelloni which was probably the best of a bad lot, but like the rest was tasteless. Some years ago Avanti used to be quite good but it is one of the worst now. Wine markups are outrageous as well. Somehow a $6.95 bottle of wine cost $34 at the restaurant. With corkage at $4/person BYO is not encouraged. Bottom line avoid.

Has always been a favourite, menu has changed only slightly in over 10 years. Massive serves of pasta and delicious sauces. Great for big groups, something for everyone on their extensive menu.
