Vivian and Jimmy the new managing staff at Av-a-chat Cafe were attentive, friendly and efficient. When ordering Vivian was very helpful in providing advice on the menu and an idea of how each menu item would taste.

The meals were delicious, flavoursome and filling. We ordered a three course meal for two and the entrees flowed perfectly on from one another right up to the meals. Between the meal and the dessert there was a small break, needed just to settle the main course and have a chat with our hosts. It was perfectly timed service.

The Vietnamese cuisine was awesome though we are looking forward to trying their all day breakfast. It was a delightful dining experience, one that we look forward to sharing again and again. I believe that as the new management of Av-a-chat Cafe Vivian and Jimmy will do well.

We joined hosts, Alisa and Alex Robinson for the first of their Friday night dinners on 5 October. This cosy little cafe lives up to its name and we shared a memorable evening with other loyal customers. The food was appertising and reasonably priced. The menu was pleasantly varied to suit a range of tastes and the ingredients were garden fresh with ample servings presented in an uncomplicated and subtle way.

All this was topped off with exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It is a BYOG, making Av-A-Chat very easy on the wallet while tempting the palate. We can thoroughly recommend this wonderful venue.
