Great BYO restaurant, fantastic value. Average decor. New menu showcasing true chinese cuisine. So cheap!

Had a banquet there for $25 per head. There were 2 entree, 6 main and 1 dessert dish. Overall quality was very good and great value for money. All of the staff were friendly and courteous except one waitress who had a permanent frown. I rated the ambience low because of the lack of room to move and being really packed in makes for a rather noisy environment so conversation with someone other than the one next to you is difficult.

Asian House is absolutely mindblowing - definitely the best chinese, EVER! Try the Salt and Pepper Squid - you'll think you've died and gone to heaven!! The Kung Po Chicken rocks as well.

This is the best Chinese food in Brisbane. It was recommended to us by a hotel owner when my husband and I visited Brisbane 10 years ago, before we moved here. Although we've tried others that friends have recommended over the years, we've never found a better Chinese Restaurant.

There is no ambience whatsoever. It is very small, always very full and as it has a tiled floor, it's a loud place. It has cheap fittings and is not a romantic place by any stretch of the imagination but the FOOD IS DIVINE and totally 'value for money'.

The service is very efficient and friendly. They are great with larger groups too. Unless you come really early, like 5-5:30pm on a week night, or have booked ahead, you may find yourself standing on the footpath with others waiting for a table - a common sight given its popularity.
