Another example of a much hyped unpleasant Brisbane Restaurant. I ordered a main and it was a pathetically small serve, highly salted and rather bland. Not worth the wait or the price. Save the disappointment and cook your own.

Poor service! Made a reservation for 8, arrived at 745 and were told to wait then at 8 went back to the front desk and were told that someone took our reservation even though we waited there the whole time! Sat down and given menus only to be moved 15 minutes later and given menus again. I ordered the starter main and desert for everyone. 20 for starter, 45 for food then they ignored us until I had to yell out to someone where they said that they forgot our desert... Food was ok but not real Italian.

Poor service both times I've been there - we weren't even acknowledged, so we left after waiting. Didn't get to try the food, so they get a 1 for that and value, since the service was crap!

We had a booking for inside but were seated outside. Ordered within 10 minutes. Waited 50 minutes without either of the two simple entrees being served. A table adjacent to us, which had diners on it when we arrived, was reset and the new patrons were served their entrees 15 minutes before we walked out. A complaint to the wait staff was met by a blank, uncomprehending look with no apology or explanation offered. Never again!

I must admit I was a little concerned about eating here because I'd read the reviews after booking and it didn't make for good reading. The biggest complaints from people where about the service and waiting times for meals so I was expecting the same. What actually happened was completely different. We arrived at 7 pm and were seated right away.

Our order was taken promptly by a very pleasant young lady. I asked her roughly how long would our meals be ready? She said that we can expect our entree in 10 minutes and our mains about 20 minutes after that. 'Sure', I thought to myself but true to her word the entree actually arrived 10 minutes later. And the mains about 20 mins after finishing.

I really can't fault the service. The place was packed too (Friday night) The food was good without being brilliant however. We had Cannelloni and Seafood Risotto. Only one prawn in the Risotto. Reasonably priced but next time I will try the Lasagne.

Very disorganised service, I don't think one of the three tables around us had their meals arrive together. Despite having table numbers written on tables, there was lots of walking around by staff with dishes in hand trying to find the right customer. As for the pizza...Meh. I've had alot better, the crust had no flavour, the sauce commercial and the thin crust simply made mine a soggymess. Can't figure out what the accolades are about with this place. Went on a Friday.

The fiid here is, perhaps, the best Italian I have tried in Brisbane. The location is in busy New Farm and the ambience is not the best, but I will sit outside, squeezed on tables on the street almost to eat this superb food. The wait staff are very professional and knowledgeable and have a European feel.

It is not on the cheap side but there are many average Italian places in the city that charge more for less quality thats for sure. The potato and rosemary pizza is simply amazing.

Amazing staff, so helpful and friendly. I have been many times and can not fault the service or the food. I took some friends from Sydney that are Italian for dinner and they said it was one of the best meals they have had in a long time, just like home cooking.

20 minutes quoted for a takeaway actually means 40 minutes then you walk out.
Never ever again.
