Do not order delivery from this restaurant! They have the poorest service I have experienced in years! Not once, but twice (after giving them the benefit of the doubt) they had problems with delivering our order. Both times they called us after it was prepared and by the time we received it, our meals were cold. They did apologize but we will not be returning and are very disappointed.

I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. It was rushed despite me being the only one in there, my hair wasn't properly shampooed or conditioned and was considered the treatment, my half head of foils was literally 4 foils of extremely small sections of hair, and overall was a complete pain to work with. I had a $200 package and ended up going home later that week and re-cut and colored it myself and received way more compliments.

This place isn't worth it. Trust your gut and go somewhere more reputable.

We tried a lot of dishes when we went here and every single dish we tried was delicious, well presented and in satisfying portions (we had to get some of our food bagged for take away).

The decor and general ambience of this place was very relaxing and comfortable with a real artsy feel. The staff service was also great. The only draw back is the price. Whilst the food is delicious enough to make it worth paying for the prices were at the higher end of the scale. This is not somewhere I could afford to go on a regular basis. Excellent for a special occasion though.

Well where do I start? We went there for a drink and we had the barmen trying to push us out when we trying to enjoy ourselves. Then some guy came in and shouted to the staff "we had a booking for 4 people at 6.30pm and we've waited half an hour so just forget it". Then he slammed the door and walked away in disgust. Well that wrecked our night. We won't be going back.

My wife and I eat here regularly. It is one of our favourite restaurants in Bondi. The menu has all the Hungarian favourites but a number of other great choices as well. Best Schnitzel in Bondi, amazing veal shanks, Hungarian Goulash, roasted duck etc. Great service and food is consistently very good. Desserts are also amazing, we love the mixed berry crepes. Highly recommend this place.

Rude rude rude. Doesn't matter how good the food is when the staff are so rude that I almost cried! I will never return, there are luckily other places to get great bagels nearby where the staff are pleasant.

9 Highly Recommended

We had a great night here last night. We were a group of 6, we had to wait 40 minutes for a table, due to the venue being quite small. We went to there other venue while we waited. Once we sat down, drinks came quickly. It was suggested by our waitress to get some 'tacos & po-boys' to share to start, they were awesome.

From there we shared a bunch of mains, sides, jugs of cocktails. All really good. Good value too. Looking forward to going back.

Never fails to disappoint, such incredible food, friendly staff and seemly unpretentious. We’ve eaten here a few times and took some friends knowing the evening would be enjoyed immensely. The flavours to intrinsically combined to make each mouthful a burst of flavour. Highly recommend this restaurant and it’s BYO!

At first I wasn't sure about going to Panama House from reading the other two reviews. But so glad I did as it was a wonderful experience. We were a party of two so sitting at the long bar was perfect for us. We started with one of the cocktails called "Smugglers punch which is rum based and delicious! Followed by yummy plates of food, highly recommend the tacos and the ribs.

The brûlée and chocolate dessert were amazing. We did have to wait 25 minutes as it was so busy. But we didn't mind waiting as they gave us a discount on our drinks at their bar down the road. Definitely be back!

Whilst the Corner House guys do know how to pull together a restaurant, the interiors are really well done and the menu interesting, they seriously lack in attitude and service. Zero personality staff that fail to acknowledge or show interest in customers. Way too cool for school. Expect Bondi Hipster service.

Ordered delivery, took 55 min. Pizzas are edible, but I wouldn't recommend. The bases taste like something you would buy frozen from the supermarket, and there's nothing authentic about the tomato sauced used on the pizzas. Toppings are ok, although the ham didn't actually taste anything like ham, very processed. Seems difficult to find a good pizza place in Bondi, surry hills seems to have the closest pizzas to what you'd find in Italy.

With a name like Panama House, and a Panamanian flag as its motif, you would logically expect Panamanian cuisine, or at least Latin food. Panama House does neither. In fact, it serves "American soul food" - as the name 'Panama House' would obviously imply. The epic fails start from there, the cocktail list does not have a single rum-based drink (Hint: only Mexico drinks tequila, every other country around the Caribbean drinks rum, it's not rocket science!)... a dozen oysters probably bought at Coles sets you back $42.

The $7 tacos are big enough to be consumed in one bite, the wait staff are hipster Hall of Famers both in apathy and facial grooming habits. The final stitch-up was when the bill came ($440 for 5 people) and they informed us that they were cash only.

Sadly, there are enough vapid hipsters/surfies/cougars in Bondi that will blindly spend their rent money at the next "it" place such that this place will probably be around for a while. ("I mean, like, Panama is, like, so cool, like, Argentina was so, like, 2010"). Be forewarned - this place is a Fail.

This place was fabulous, quite unassuming from the outside though. Our friendly waiter, Andy was a hoot. My fish was out of this world and not overpriced. Delicious cocktails at $12, how could you resist not trying this place! I'll definitely be back!

The food here and atomosphere are great. Unfortunately, some of the staff are quite unfriendly and our breakfast took ages. Don't expect 'fresh' smoothies either. We might go again.

I would reccomend Russian Nights to anyone who wants great value! We went with the whole family and enjoyed the experience. Great food, friendly staff and excellent music!

Overpriced, food truly awful and then the staff tried to hit us with a 10% surcharge for a group booking even though we had been seated at separate tables! Tip for owners - if you want to impose a surcharge like that, you at least need to have tables large enough to seat the group together. Also warn the customers first! Make a note on the menu! Don't just say "Well, it's well advertised that we do that!" at the end of the night when the (huge) bill comes. Not impressed.

Went here last night and will be going back again tonight! The pulled pork sandwich is so incredibly amazing, it's a must if you go there! The hot wings are indeed very very hot, nice but too hot! The poutine was also very nice. The waitress had a Canadian accent and was very helpful the whole time. Good value, great food, great night! My new favourite eatery!
