Fantastic Thai in the lower Blue Mountains! Don't go there if ambience is what you're after but if good food is high on your list then go for it! We eat here regularly and have only been disappointed with other local Thai restaurants.

Like many of the other reviewers, I wouldn't eat in at this restaurant but the take away was good. Being new to the glenbrook area after moving from the inner west where thai restaurants are plentiful and generally very good. I was surprised to get such good quality thai, fresh and tasty!

The young guys behind the counter can be very curt during busy times and barely acknowledge the customer unless he/she coerces him into exchange of dialogue. I have also ordered the duck salad from there more than once and gotten less than fresh duck. Thau Ruk Thai really need to lift their game, as there are much better local Thai restuarants, in Blaxland and Emu Plains, serving much better cooked food.

This is the best thai in the mountains! To be honest the restaurant is nothing special and your best getting take away! But the food is amazing and the value is exceptional! Service is always pleasant, even when they are crazy busy! I like that they cook the food infront of you as well. But I just cannot fault their food at all! Yum!

The food is not up to Thai food standard and is over priced for what you get especially when you pay extra for meat and receive little tiny slivers which is no where near what you would expect for up to $6 extra and four dollars if you were to order beef as you meat.

Love the improved ambience with the candles on the tables the last time we were there. Service is now excellent and the prices have not moved in the time that it has been in operation. A fabulous place for a first date as well as a family get together. This place is excellent. As my late dad would say, don't make other people rich! Go for it.

This is a great place for thai takeaway. The food is always sensational and the price is right. Ther are many thai places around but this seems to be the best in the area. Probably not a great place for a romantic evening out, but great for a cosy night at home with takeaway

Yep, this place is a hit and miss. Sometimes the Thai food is fabulous and other times it is terrible! Yet, my husband and I continue to get takeaway from here usually once a week. It's quick, cheap and fills you up. The yellow curry is usually the best bet. Stay clear of the mussaman. I haven't tasted a good one yet.

The service is average. It really depends on who you get. Sometimes there is little fights going on which I imagine would be annoying if you were eating in. If you are looking for cheap, Thai takeaway that doesn't taste too bad then this is your place.

It's a tiny shop. It serves cheap Thai food which, like the service, can be a bit hit and miss. You can eat there but take away is the better option.
