Delicious pizza, warm and friendly service and great value for money at the Station Bar. Good selection of wines and beers at pub prices, and the food is fresh and well prepared. We will be back!

Having gotten sick of most of the restaurants and bars in western syd, it was very refreshing to visit the station bar. When you walk in, it is obvious that the place is set up as a bar with a restaurant on the side. That being said, it is very warm, inviting and easy to settle into. The atmosphere was one where conversation was easy and the mood was light. The food is awesome, a big improvement would be a dessert menu, which I was informed is on its way very soon.
There is no table service, you order your pizza at the bar, but my wife and I found that doing it this way actually gets you your food quicker than most restaurants we have been to. Only had a brief glance at the menu, and John, the owner, did such a good job of describing to us the pizza of the month, we knew we just had to have it.
John told us that he has spent his whole life in the hospitality industry and it showed, as the whole place was put together with the customer in mind. When John found out our pizza was going to be a bit late, he came out and apologised straight away, but once again, the speediness of our food, even though it was late, beat most places we have been to.
The only improvement I could think of, would be to have someone greet the customers that come in for a pizza at the door, as when we walked in we were unsure if we should just sit anywhere or wait to be seated. There might've been a sign saying this, but I didn't see one. But the 90 minutes of enjoyment we had there made up for the initial 10 seconds of awkwardness. Do yourself a favour, go there and enjoy yourself!

Simply the best pizza I have ever had. Service was friendly and personable. I would happily travel to Katoomba for their pizza rather than go local.

Kangaroo Pizza was a great meal after a long day of abseiling down waterfalls! They even customized it for me. Nice local live music on Sundays. I would eat there again if I return to the Blue Mountains.

By far the best pizzas anywhere in NSW. So many to choose from but not enough time so settled for the Leura and definitely set the tastebuds off! Friendly and welcoming bar/restaurant and the perfect place for a lazy Sunday afternoon or a night out. Top marks.

Spent a great Friday night at John Cope's Station Bar in Kaloomba. His range of beer and wine offered at below-average prices clearly helps draw the tourists (like us) while ensuring the locals keep coming back. Couple that with an excellent selection of 21 pizzas (we counted) cooked in the wood-fired oven and various salads and other starters, it is no wonder the place was packed.
After much deliberation we chose our pizzas, the Warrimoo (shaved kangaroo fillet with veges and a few lively jalapenos) and the special, an eclectic mix of vegetable and salad toppings. Both delicious, and large enough they not only satisfied our dinner hunger but left a few slices for a snack during Saturday's bush walk.
With a great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and regular live music it is a must for an evening out in Kaloomba, so much so that here we are again on Sunday night for second helpings.

In a town with limited choice of stylish watering holes, this restaurant/pub is a shot in the arm. The limited space in this centrally located establishment has been utilized brilliantly so that families can eat in comfort and safety while revelers sample the impressive range of boutique beers, local wines and local and imported spirits. The pizzas are inventive and delicious and great value, the service excellent, and the music some of the best I have heard in a pub.

Heading to the station for one of their great pizzas has become a ritual for us everytime we're in the mountains rockclimbing. The duck pizza is excellent and the crocodile is fantastic, very unique and tasty. fresh, quality incredients and a crisp thin base make these the best pizzas in the mountains in my opinion. Plus my two favourite beers (fat yak pale ale and white rabbit dark ale) are available on tap. Really recommend this place if you're happy to spend a little extra for awesome pizza and great beer.

These guys are awesome, excellent food and service with great advice from the menu to match your desired taste. Great ambiance and the live bands on Sundays (mostly locals) are killer. Come up or drop in as you pass.

To anyone visiting the mountains and the great staff of Station Bar. My husband and I would just like to say thank you very much for being the best bar that we have been to in a very, very long time. What ever it is that you are doing, you are doing right.
The atmosphere was perfect, the clientele was great, the music selection was awesome (no pop or chart music played which we were delighted with) and played at a good decibel so we could talk, the decor was simple but very attractive, the pizzas were simply delicious and at a very good price, the wine list had a great variety, the selection of drinks were terrific (go the swedish ciders) and the staff were friendly and not pretentious (special mention goes to the blonde girl with tattoos).
We almost sat there just smiling at the fact that at long last we had finally found a bar that we could not fault in any way. It was a pleasure to be there! We were amused that we have travelled the world extensively and been in thousands of bars and the best one we have found is in Katoomba!
Thank you again for such a good night, if we are ever back up your way again we will most definitely pay you a visit.
