I have never had to wait so long for food in my life. We arrived at 7:30 and didn't get a main mean until after 11. The note on the menu saying good food takes a long time to prepare should have been a warning.

Nice building with French charm but was let down by food. Service was OK but the food lacked flavour.

If you want to be verbally abused by a drunk chef and pay "through the nose" for it then I recommend this restaurant. Also, if you are under 25 years of age take note of the "keep out" vibes, because they don't want to serve you. I have never been more humiliated in all my life!

That is the best French food I have eaten in Australia. This is my favourite restaurant.

I've returned to Le Gobelet a number of times. The food is true country French as it tastes with the benefit of Australian produce. Dining at Le Gobelet is a complete experience, well worth the drive!
