Bread Rolls, my Guess Coles, uncooked and cold also not fresh. Mains ok. Dessert I ordered Rhubard crumble, I got mash uncooked and unheated. That is just not acceptable. Although they offered free coffee and we said no. Just don't charge us for dessert thanks. Attitude of one waitress was really bad to other clients I could see it. Others were ok.

Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone as they charge Sydney prices too for food that is just not up to Sydney restaurant standards.

I went here with a table of 10 for my birthday celebration. We ordered 10 of the tapas style entrees to start which everyone totally enjoyed and fought over. At $12.50 I thought these were extremely well priced and delicious.

We all tried to order different mains to all share a taste and no one was disappointed. Everyone licked their plates clean. Unfortunately, too full for dessert. All I can say is interesting and tasty flavours 10 people happy. A rare occurence.

We had one very attentive waiter who was happy to recommend wine and catered to our individual tastes.

After having many very good meals travelling through the Blue Mountains we came across Jamison Restaurant. The chief had only recently changed the menu to have some weird pricing structure so I assumed the menu itself was new. The options on the menu seemed to be a very strange mix of flavours but since we had committed to sitting down we thought we would try them.

We were very disappointed. The entree not only had a strange mix of flavours but it tasted like it had been incorrectly reheated in a microwave. The mains were much the same. We in fact decided not to eat the mains as the meals led a lot to be desired. The staff were ok but they could have been a little more attentive as the restaurant was almost empty and they seemed to be hiding.

We rang up to book a special breakfast for Easter morning. I asked about their buffet and she said there's alot of food and it's all cooked fresh. I asked her if there was an egg station that the eggs can be cooked fresh infront on you and the girl said there was. So we got up at 8 am on a sunday morning! To be at breakfast by 9 as it finished at 10 am.

We got there and the place was nice and they were friendly when they greeted us. We walked into the dining room where the buffet was and there was about 6 bain marie's with old food in them. The eggs looks crusty and not fresh. There was no where to get anything fresh. The croissants were about the side of 2 50c pieces. This all cost $24 per person. I never walk out of a restaurant but I couldn't justify spending $50 for disappointing food on a special occasion.

So we walked out and explained the food was not fresh and that the choice of food was terrible for such a high price. This is the blue moutains...a rural area not Sydney, they can't charge Sydney prices and not deliver Sydney quality. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

Our party of 8 headed to this restaurant to celebrate a special family occasion.
The food was very good, however the entire experience was let down by very poor service. If you are paying this price for meals you do not expect to have to leave your seat to ask for water (twice before it actually arrived), cutlery, drinks, or to see when the food will arrive (very slow).

Not once were we approached by any wait staff to inquire as to whether everything was alright, or can they get us anything. The young girls were led by a hapless maitre d who seemed very disinterested. There was one girl who went around with a big jug of water filling up people's glasses, but she only made it to some tables then headed back to the bar - your experience here could be very hit or miss.

When the time came for our cake (which we had supplied) to be brought out it was literally dumped on our table without a congratulatory (or otherwise) word from the hapless maitre d. He then proceeded to chat to a nearby table leaving us without plates or cutlery for the cake. Once again, someone had to go and ask, and a girl was dispatched with (tea) saucer plates which even she recognised as not being good enough, so she went and got us some dessert plates and forks.

Claiming to be 4 1/2 star, I might have expected someone to assist with the cake cutting and dispensing, but that did not happen. The other thing which did not happen was the cake was brought out without candles or sparklers, as had been requested. When I approached the hapless maitre d, he claimed that he was not told this was required. Sorry, but if I am a maitre d, perhaps I should have thought that for myself or checked with the customer? Afterwards we ordered cocktails which took over 35 minutes to arrive.

    Would definitely not recommened.

The lamb shanks I had were very nice the salt and pepper squid was a good entree as well but the choci brownie for dessert was very dry. My wife ordered spaghetti olio style without any chilli in it as she doesn't like hot or real spicy food but they replaced the chilli with enough pepper to kill a brown dog and had to send it back, the waitress was very polite and attentive but tended to forget a few things we ordered and we had to ask for them again.

Our table of 6 had quite long wait between meals but on the whole enjoyed meals. The meals are not real cheap and are not big serves there are plenty of table staff but the need a little help in the kitchen.

My boyfriend and I as many others came here on our weekend away and expected to have a nice night out. The piano playing created a wonderful ambience, however due to extreme fog we couldn't see any view (not that this is their fault at all), the service was outstanding however, the food was revolting.

My boyfriend ordered the special which was a fish dish and it came out black and charred, I ordered the pasta and it was a huge serving that was covered in thick cream sauce - the kind I would expect to be served in a pub. Needless to say when the waiter asked how our meal was, my boyfriend showed him the fish and the waiter agreed that it looked terrible.

I did not mention anything about mine as it was embarrassed for the waiter (having worked in a restaurant for years I understand), however we were not compensated at all and we ended up having to pay for both meals at full price.

I would have expected a glass of wine or something to make up for the expensive meal that was un-eatable. Will never go back and strongly recommend others not to bother. Thankfully the next night we ate at a wonderful restaurant in Blackheath which was incredible in everyway, so the weekend was not a total loss.

Food that was ordered came out vey rare after stipulating that it was to be well done. Very disappointing as I was celebrating a special occasion. Wine was ordered by the glass and glasses were not filled in actual 1 glass, was poured from a near empty bottle which only filled the glass to 3/4 full. When wine is $10 per glass it is very poor. Very disappointing for the money we paid for a special occasion.
