Been to Cafe Cee several times and never disappointed. Strongly recommend the breakfast menu... and had far worse experiences with the service at other cafes and restaurants than the usually pleasant staff at this cafe.

Appalling service. I have been several time hoping it would get better, it hasn't. The food takes for ever to get to the table and not worth the money.

4 of us had dinner at Cafe Cee last night (17 March 2011) and had a great time. Service was quick and the meal was cooked as requested and without delay. Would go back anytime.

I've recently discovered this cafe and been once a week for the past 5weeks, in the mornings the barista makes a very nice coffee and is always friendly and welcoming. The breakfast menu reads nicely and seems interesting but I must say its simply over priced, lack of early morning competition could be the reason contributing? its not that the food is bad but its average breakfast fare, nothing special.

Lunched there recently with my sister. Started with a berry smoothie which was no where near cold. Ordered a steak sandwich, which was so chewy and full of fat and sinew, I could hardly cut through it let alone eat it. The salad tasted like it was last night's leftovers, limp and soggy. Beetroot was pale looking and limp. Never again.

Stopped in for lunch on our way a bit further up the mountain. Nice little spot and the food was also good. We had the steak sandwich and vegetarian frittata. Meal portions were good, service was friendly and the food came out in time. Delicious looking desserts though we passed but would also make a great spot for a cup of coffee/tea and cake.

I've heard bad things about this cafe, but recently I tried it for myself especially after hearing they have a new waitstaff and barista, I have to say my experience was none but pleasant. Admittedly I only had coffee and cake with my wife but both were superb! However, there seemed to be only one waitress for the entire cafe which to me seems like this cafe has a staffing problem not a service problem.

A bit hit and miss. Have had nice lunches here in the past but have also experienced very average breakfasts, undercooked bacon and lack of care in presentation and preparation. I think it's trying to be a cosy mountain cafe but failing. Food average but staff friendly. Go here if all the other cafe's are too crowded.

Pretty ordinary as far as dining in glenbrook goes, there are far better choices in town than Cafe Cee. We came here for midweek lunch, it wasn't that busy. We spoke to a waitress when we arrived and let her know we were taking a seat outside so she knew we were there, 15 minutes later we actually were given a menu and were told she would be back soon to take an order.

In the next 20 minutes she walked by our table delivering take away coffees to businesses across the road before taking our order, pretty rude. When we did order, the food came in fair time but it was pretty un-inspired standard cafe style food and we didn't feel much love for the place from the waitstaff and clearly not much love or effort is applied by the kitchen staff either.
