We wanted to order from the indian restaurant that was originally at this location, only to discover there was a change of management and was renamed Kalash. It appears there is also a change of chef as well. Sceptical, we ordered a few dishes without seeing a menu. When the dishes arrived we all thought the curries looked a little watery than what we're used to.

However, after the first spoonful, the flavours were All there. The meats were very tender and well cooked. We ordered some naan and roti. Roti was good but the garlic naan was awesome. Price wise, it was alright, but, perhaps, there could have been a little more meat for the price?

Overall I wasn't disappointed and am quite relieved the meal was good. Looks like we've found a new favourite restaurant! Thanks!

I went to Nawabs last week on a saturday with a few friends, I was told that they were fully booked out and either had to wait or I can order a take away. Was a little disappointed that I could not dine in. We ordered biryani and a few curries. I should admit that the biryani was the best I have had in a long long time and the curries were rich and tasty, also I should add their service was very friendly and polite. Anyone who wants to try traditional hyderabadi food should try this restaurant. And the best part is it is Cheap.

After looking around at a number of flooring options, I finally settled on bamboo because of its environmentally friendly credentials and toughness. Truth be told, I had already chosen a local flooring provider, however, I was so taken by the quality and number of Astoria’s testimonials on their website that I soon changed my mind.

After meeting with Andre I had no doubt that I was dealing with Melbourne’s bamboo specialists. Furthermore, the quality of their bamboo was definitely higher than other bamboo companies I met with (sealed edges etc). The team at Astoria were a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.

The floor looks great and receives heaps of compliments! I have no hesitation in recommending Astoria Floors for bamboo flooring, they are the only choice in my mind…

Finally found a fantastic Mens Hairdresser and I won't be paying high prices again. Bayside Barber is a breath of fresh air in an up and coming shopping strip.

My haircut cost $17 which is an absolute bargain and I got the haircut I wanted without any fuss. They do all styles of cuts-very modern to traditional. No appointment necessary. Relaxed atmosphere, staff were fantastic. Highly recommended. Located next to Clocktower in Mordialloc, right near the train station.

The food is Ok (you expect a lot better), the surrounds can be dreadful especially in the summer with lots of dangerous looking transients going by and the service is terrible. The wait staff couldn't check us out without getting the senior staff who remained in her upstairs office on the telephone at 10 pm despite our numerous requests to pay and leave.

When she finally did honour us with her presence, it was with an air of "I can do without your business" and so I will never set foot in the place again and will encourage others not to go there either. There are too many good restaurants to put up with a stuff, overpriced, arrogant restaurant.

Don't know how anyone can give this place a bad wrap. Cannot get better value for money. The selection of food is endless, the wait staff so attentive and the decor of the room is beautifully presented. I would highly recomend the salt and pepper squid and as a main the whole Lobster Mornay, melted in your mouth. Also we shared the garlic bread as a starter that came with some antipasto. Wonderful to share to get the taste buds really going. If you haven't been would highly recommend.

This cafe is a little bit away from the main strip of Carnegie. But it is very worth coming here. The staff are very friendly and polite. The food is fresh and yummy. The coffees are really good! This is a family friendly dining place with a lovely out door area at the back that has a childrens play area. I will definitely come back again!

Rossini is a well-established Malvern institution, and can be busy even when other restaurants nearby are quite quiet. It's status as such is definitely reflected in the prices! The front room, although quite congested, has a good atmosphere, but the back room is very ordinary. Nevertheless, this doesn't seem to deter the Malvern-ites.

The food is reliable with a good choice of pastas and pizzas plus the usual Italian mains. On one visit, we had the salmon with pesto and roasted vegetables and the gnocchi with four cheeses sauce (very rich!). On another occasion, we had a vegetarian pizza and the vegetarian lasagna. All these offerings were good, and the serves were generous, too.

The service is pretty slick. The wine list is adequate, but as with the food menu, it's on the pricey side for what you get, so take advantage of the ability to BYO.

I will never go to restaurant again. The food is so so, the only reason I booked again was because it was close to home. It was my mothers day dinner and my mother in laws birthday. I made the booking online for 7 of us at 6pm. We arrive all dressed up and the senior staff who checked the black book for bookings said we had no booking. When I said we had booked on line she continued to argue with me trying to prove me wrong infront of my family.

I asked if she could accommodate us and all she could do was accuse me of having no record of my booking. I said well it is obviously a mistake and seeing that the restaurant was not full, we were the only ones there at that time could she see if there was a later booking. She said no and asked me to check my phone to find proof of my booking!

After I was insulted and my family walked out I was left with her trying still prove me to be a liar. There was a later booking at 8, she could have offered us the table straight up and we would have made sure we were out of there by 8. I left with her offering me some meal vouchers, I Don't Think So Lady, who do you think you are to accuse a patron of lying to get a seat at your restaurant in the burbs!

I'm a vegetarian and a real foodie and sometimes I find it hard to combine the 2. Lots of menus have only few vegetarian options and often it is quite obvious the kitchen didn't put their heart into it, saving the passion for meaty dishes.
Attica has a range of great vego dishes!

This is not a place I would have normally considered but options for dinner after movies with the kids were limited. So we decided to brave it.

I have to say that this place really surprised me. The menu is big and probably what you would expect, steaks, tex mex, burgers, fries etc. The surprise was that the food was both reasonably well presented and tasty. The service was very efficient and friendly and all in all, if you are eating with kids this is a pretty good place to try. Should be something to please everyone.

This is the last place left from the good old times, personal service and a lot of love in to what they do. It is enough for me to walk in and the owner already makes my pizza without me ordering. If you like old school service and looks it is Mergs for sure!

Ordered dinner for delivery. Over 2 hours later, still nothing. At the 1.5 hour mark, we called to cancel and we got every excuse under the sun.

We knew from ordering before that the food was good, but the delivery service was slow. But not 2 hours slow! Definately won't be ordering from here again.

Wish we had taken photos of our food we had last week, so we could show how fabulous everything looked. The lobster bisque and thai calamari salad for starters tasted even better. The sparkling water to begin with was divine. It came with a separate glass of ice with a choice of lime and lemon on the side so I could build my glass of water to my taste, mixing a perfect blend of french sparkling. Yum!

We chose a seafood sensation menu due to the 3 choices for each course so we could add a lobster tail to the main also. (why go to the Lobster Cave and not have lobster). The bisque for me was perfect but may be a bit overpowering if you are not a fan of seafood. It was nice and light, more a reduction than lots of cream. The calamari salad was just wondeful, more Vietnamese than Thai but just glorious. So tender.

I had to have the salt and pepper calamari for the main, a classic seafood dish, while my partner had the rockling fillets with mash and beans. The calamari was melt in your mouth. They obviously make their own salt and pepper mix as it tasted so fresh. The rockling fillets had the perfect amount of creamy mash with perfectly cooked beans, still snap fresh.

Dessert was an effort as the size of the servings were substantial. Even so when there is creme brulee on the menu it has to be tried and it was worth the trouble even if I didn't finish it. Perfectly speckled with vanilla bean flecks. Apparently the sticky date was Bonza! Overall good value for your $. (Whoever put the cushion on my chair - Thankyou!

Food was ordered through Menulog online at 7.43PM, text message was received stating delivery time of 8.43PM. By 9.15PM (92minutes) food still had not arrived, even allowing for busy Saturday night 92 minutes is a bit slow. I called to check and was advised that they were busy (duhhh...) and food would be 10 mins. 38 minutes later the food arrived (we live 700m from the restaurant). Total time from ordering to delivery? 130 minutes! 2 hours and 10 minutes!

The delay is bad enough, but to be lied to when I called to check is inexcusable, not a smart way to run your business. They basically forgot my order and started cooking when I called to check. Never again for this un-professional rabble.
