Its me and my partners anniversary tonight and we have been to the windy point restaurant before but not yet the cafe, we were told by staff that they were pretty much the same (boy were they so wrong!), our night started off When we first walked in, there was no happy greeting from any staff member.

I decided to have a steak and I asked for medium but I got rare instead and my partner got the lamb shanks, which looked good but was so dry. We pretty much had one bit each and just left the plate, we were looking around to notify the staff members but there were none to be seen. When someone finally came to clear our plates we told them what was wrong and the response we got was "oh... ok" and that was it, there was nothing done about our Bad meal, not even an apology.

When we paid and left the cafe there was no smile or thank you or even a cheesy have a goodnight from the staff member! We would not recommend any family or friends to come to this cafe as the overall experience we received was a bad one, which ruined our anniversary and lead us to come home after dinner to write this comment at 11.10 pm (So hungry right now (T_T) Never again will we return.

We had both grilled and natural oysters. with a glass of Janz. Excellent! Then rabbit pie and burmese duck curry accompanied by the Pinot. Pie was excellent. The curry was a bit bland. Really needed the coriander to add some highlight. We ordered the dessert platter to finish and it was excellent. All up a good value meal. View is great. Service excellent.
