There were three of us for brekky, before we could sit down, we were approached for ordering drinks, no chance for drinks menu, we ordered pot of tea for two and orange juice. In case tea is too strong to my taste (I prefer weak tea), I asked for some hot water on standby. There came 3 cups of hot water with the tea, trying not to bother them again, we didn't bother to return the extra water. When the bill came, we were charged 3x$3 for the hot water!

In the end, although the food was delicious, the experience left pretty bad taste in the mouth. My view is, if water cost money, they should tell us first. In addition, we did not ask for 3 x water, why sent us 3 cups! When I complained to the restaurant afterwards, I received no reply at all!

Been here twice now when visiting Adelaide. This time the food was even better than I remember, outstanding rabbit and home made pasta dish + duck pie. All the extras (dip, bread etc) were also excellent, always a good sign.

Did not mind the service (but only half the tables occupied). Waiter staff attitude was very informal/casually efficient so understand that this won't suit everyone. Fairly cool decor (literally, don't sit next to the big windows on a cold night), half way between an upmarket bar/cafe and a formal restaurant. All in all, highly recommended for the food especially.

Fabulous food and outlook let down by very slow service. Twice in the one sitting we had to wait 25 minutes for two drinks, and another 20 minutes for a glass of water. If it wasn't for the most amazing omelettes and sensational chai tea we'd certainly have left very unhappy diners.
