We had a large group at this restaurant and booked a table of 16, 15 of us attended. The set menu was good, but things started looking sketchy very early. Despite having a few people missing on the table, they were very insistent on taking our orders, so when the remaining few rocked up they had to go up and tell the staff what they wanted.

As we were polishing off our entree dip platters, the waitresses decided we were done and started collecting our plates despite food still remaining on the platters. They had prepared our mains too early and did not want to let us finish what was left.The mains were served and I don't think anyone had a complaint, they were very good. After this, the waitresses again marched around and started collecting our empty wine glasses despite wine still being in one of the bottles. So we were left with a wine bottle and no glasses.

We were never asked if we wanted another bottle or anything. Perhaps, this would have been a good explanation for the empty glasses? In general, the staff had no idea about basic service. To top it all off, because we were on a set menu, they charged us for the extra seat that we booked for. At no stage did they mention this until it was time to pay. We were never offered the extra main for anyone that may have been hungry. I could understand this if they were fully booked, but the place was half empty.

Have been a few times in the past and has been quite good, but the last time we went (june 09) was not a good dining experience. Music was terrible, staff very unaccommodating of request for custom pizza toppings as there was no vegetarian pizza on menu, waiting staff quite rude. Food very average.
