Great pub, hadn't been there for 4 years, the place used to be a real tip, but current owners have made it a great pub, solid counter meals, great specials, and tap beer is excellent. Locals are great, and you can put a bet on, or just chill and have a quiet one. If you haven't been down there in the past couple of years, make sure you do. Its not fancy, but it delivers.

This is a great inner city pub. The current owners took over Xmas 2009 and since then haven't tried to turn the place in to something uber cool. Its cool because it's being itself. Basic pub fare which is well priced, and great $10 curries on Tues, and the best value $10 steak on a Thurs eve. Tap beer is excellent (Coopers pale and stout on tap, plus Lion Nathan Beers inc XXX Gold) and a great drive thru which boasts (of course) the best priced Southwark Bitter in town. Check it out!
