This venue is fantastic for a relaxed weekend lunch. It looks like a standard pub from the front but is a lovely, well lit bistro around the back. It feels like they have a wood fire so it's toasty and warm. Perfect for the winter. I was very happy with the rib eye steak that I had, very tender.

Previous Review - 2008: I had lunch or dinner here about 4 or 5 times a year with meetings, they've jazzed it up a bit lately with some renovations. I find the menu quite limited and usually struggle to make a choice. Last time I had the battered fish which was quite horrible, all over battered, lumpy and too oily. Yuk! Eating here is only mediocre at best although I'm yet to taste their new wood fired pizzas.

Update: Revisited in Feb '09 and the new owners have now gotten into the groove with an expanded and improved menu and completed renovations. Very much better. Good eating here now for sure. All at our large table were suitably impressed. Try the homemade chicken pie - it's a killer.
