Love Ruby Raja's! Definitely one of the best Indian places I have ever been to, great for takeaway as well as being a pleasure to eat in. Curry's run around the $14 mark, and the takeaway serving is the large round chinese container size (rather than the rectangular box) and rice costs extra. Excellent butter chicken, and I love the Ruby Chicken, which is similar to a butter chicken/tikka marsala, nice and thick and creamy, red, mild and oh so yum! It's a great signature dish that you won't find elsewhere.

From two curryholics, we have tried quite a few places around town and found that Adelaide has a lot of good curry restaurants. The Ruby, however, is our favourite. They make the best tindaloo going, and the Thali plate is a great way to try different tastes. The chef is happy to vary the items on the Thali plate. Great butter chicken and beef korma. Good value, great food, nice place, good service, what more could you want.

The food was great, my partner had a lamb korma and I had a squid curry. The lamb korma was one of the best korma my partner has ever had.

The restaurant looks like a heritage building with high ceilings. Lovely.

Service was great and the prices were very reasonable.
