Our visit tonight (10/8/10) was disappointing. Now I'm all for giving anyone a go but when staff cannot speak english or comprehend english well, it becomes quite frustrating having to repeat orders, comments etc etc. Then the food came out, one dish only luke warm and dribbled on the side of the bowl, the other "sizzling schezhuan" was not sizzling at all and had no bite to it as it is meant to, plus the beef was not tender nor tasty. Top money was paid for the meals and wine, and no apology or discount was offered when our complaint was raised upon paying the bill. Hmm yep, great customer service!

Hey I went there with my family. It a beautiful restaurant I ever seen in that area. That restaurant was really busy and every one enjoy their meal. I understand that it just been in business so if they're making a mistake that is not a big deal. If you were there and you actually working you'll understand how that people feel. You should appreciate that they cook your meal for you. If you don't like it thats is too bad because no one is on your side, and if you think they took so long to cook your meal then next time got to somewhere else, its faster and you can get your meal in 3 second.

Next time if you're not happy don't go there, as long as they're still in business then I'm happy to go I can have a nice meal with my family. By the way nice food take time to cook, ever heard of it, you have to be patient, if you want it to be delicious... Bye bye.

I personally have been a very honest critic to many newly opened restaurants, and for the moment my review to the current status of Orientai Holden Hill, I would have to say from my personal dining experiences at Orientai Holden Hill is that early teething problems are to be expected due to a newly opened restaurant.

Staff was more than helpful even though the rush of a full house was a clear struggle from the customers point of view and having the first month would be quite daunting every night for them as trials and errors are yet to be experienced even for experienced staff and management.

However, overall a very pleasant urban city styled restaurant in the north eastern suburbs was a great idea even though some of the northern patrons are not all eligible in for brownie points the decorum department as the restaurant would be quite a treat for north eastern suburbia. All and all I would rate Orientai Holden Hill a 4 and a half star rating in the making! Obviously not all ever understand how stressful the hospitality Industry really is hence or ever have been on the other side of the fence!).

Even though everyone has a right to their own opinions and all establishments appreciate constructive feedback, always try to put your self in others shoes before posting such a review.
