Love this place. I have been there multiple times, I'm never disappointed. Great to have a restaurant adjacent one of Adelaide's best pubs. I will undoubtedly be returning.

Where can I start? Very disappointing given the amount of good press we have heard about The Lion. It was our wedding anniversary and hubby had surprised me by booking a table as he knew I really wanted to dine there. It was very crowded and busy, but given it was just coming up to Christmas we knew that it wasn't going to be an intimiate meal for two.

We could not fault the waitress she was very attentive, but the kitchen was pushed to its limit and I believe the restaurant sacrificed quality for quantity (bums on seats). The food was terrible! Hubby's fish went back because it was not cooked (we didn't get charged), my souffle was stone cold, but didn't want to complain again and to top it off the overall dining experience took almost 3.5 hours. Will not be returning to this establishment.
