I don't think of this place as offering authentic Thai (go to Sydney or better still Thailand) but it is a good meal option on Rundle St. Food is good and not too expensive. Much like Rundle Spices but slightly better ambience.

It's a great and convenient place to eat any time. At lunchtime the service is quick which is important! And, it is ideal for a quick bite before you go out or after work.

Reviewing this as a restaurant rather than a bar as it's recorded here. I must admit I am no big fan of Thai food, I find it mostly rather boring with strange mixtures of tastes.
We had a black bean sauce steak dish which was run of the mill but nice and a special of char grilled chicken in mandarin sauce with honey. I just don't get that combo at all, didn't do a thing for me, unable to finish it off. Having said that I can see that others with a different palate than mine would get it for sure. Followed that up with the regulation Bailey's scorched almond ice-cream. Why do these Thai restaurants always have the identical 4 dessert choices, fried ice-cream, coconut ice-cream, caramel drizzled banana and Baileys ice-cream? Is that the best they can come up with?
Pretty good position towards the parklands end Stag Corner of Rundle Street where we sat at a window facing table thoroughly enjoying the entertainment provided by passers by. Not quite Hardware Lane in Melbourne but interesting enough. The service was friendly with just the right amount of attention. If you have a palate for Thai food you'd definitely enjoy this place.
