I have visited Adelaide many times and every time we make a point of coming here. This has to be the best restaurant in Adelaide (if not Australia). Sensational, curries, the chutneys are brilliant, the green yoghurty dip great to take the edge off. Thanks Laxmi's for restoring my faith in restaurant cooking.

I visited this Restaurant on Valentine's Day with my fiance. We both had butter chicken and naan bread as this is a favourite of ours. The chicken was cooked well, and the sauce had just the right balance of spice. Probably my only criticism, and it's a slight one, was that i didn't think it had quite enough flavour. The Naan bread, however, was delivered in a very generous portion, and it was one of the nicest I had.

As for the ambience/decor, it's nice inside, except for the fact that the shop windows face directly west, and it will be glaring in if the curtains are not shut completely. If you're the unfortunate one who sitting facing west besides the North facing wall (I was), you'll have the sun glaring in your eyes until it sets over the trees as the main door does not have curtains. If you eat earlier or in non daylight savings times of the year, this will not be a problem.

As for the service, it was brilliant. The staff were very friendly, and the manager even insisted we have some complementary Indian Ice-cream as we didn't have time for dessert.
