Although it struggles to beat the cosy experience taking home your local indian food, its a beautiful place to eat. The food was delicious, and presented in a more 'restaurant' style, smaller portions at higher prices but the experience and ambience makes it worth it. Would definitely go back.

It might be difficult to imagine fine dining Indian cuisine but Jasmin has managed. The food feels very authentic (as far as I can tell). Spicy food fans will have tears in their eyes from their Chicken Tindaloo, described as the curry for people who find Vindaloo mild.

A very good Indian Restaurant. Food is of a high standard although some of the dishes are a little meagre, the Sambal Prawns for example, only get five or six prawns for the price. The ambience is great, wait staff generally very good although mostly non Indian. Reasonable selection of wines and beer. A good experience, worth a try if you are in or visiting Adelaide. Convenient location just opposite Crowne Plaza hotel in Hindmarsh Square.

Went here when visiting Adelaide recently. It is definitely the best curry I have had in Australia. My only criticism is that none of the waiters appeared to know very much about the food they were serving which is a problem when you want to order variations or ask if they can do something that isn't on the menu. I would love this quality Indian in Sydney!

Ate here with my wife Saturday night, in the small upstairs dining room. Not as busy as usual but the food and service was as good as ever. The mixed entrees are superb, probably the best samosas this side of Jaipur. Main dishes of vegetable thali and bhoona ghosht complemented each other superbly and the overall ambience of the place is very civilised with unobtrusive music in the background.
If you're into Indian food and live anywhere near Adelaide then you're fortunate. If you're not a fan of this cuisine, give it a try here, you may well be converted!

In terms of food, service and interesting ambience Jasmin Restaurant is absolutely one of Australia’s finest Indian cuisine restaurants. This night we were seated in the rear function room, however, which was assigned just the one waiter who, whilst very knowledgeable on food and wine etc, and a top class servant, by sheer numbers of diners he did wear it a little thin in getting to every table in a timely manner, but certainly not anything to do with a lacking of his supreme efforts.
He could have used some help though. Food was stupendous with my only dislike being the slightly overfilled cheese Naan bread which was served towards the end of the banquet and oozing thick melted cheese and hard to stomach by the end of the meal. The only other criticism, which may not affect others but does affect me, was the cheapish very thinly cushioned chairs rendering my Coccyx bones extremely bruised by the night’s end whereby I became very fidgety and uncomfortable. But that was worth suffering for the food alone, not to mention the supreme expansive wine list.

Have had several meals over the last 15 years and the quality is the best in Adelaide. I wouldn't look any further for Indian.

The best Indian Restaurant in Adelaide that I have been to, and I have been to all of the ones worth mentioning. Food is superb every time, the service is very good and the decor and lighting lend themselves to making this dining experience a magical night out with that loved one. If you love Indian and you haven’t been here before, make sure that you come to this place next. You will not be disappointed.
