This has got to be the best meal I have had in quite a long time. I was tempted to try the Veal Schnitzel, but the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable waiter, James, offerred the Salmon (fish of the day). Thank God I went with that! It was mouthwatering and the flavours were perfect!
James really knows his stuff. He knows the ins and outs of the kitchen, he knew all the specials, and ingredients, by heart. Most wait-staff barely know just the specials. His knowledge impressed me as did the service of all the other staff.
Albeit there were some rowdy kids, whose parents didn't know how to control them (word of advice, don't bring your kids here if they're tempted to touch fire and ruin everyone else's dinner, der!).
We also had the Garlic and Paprika bread (Yum) and a side of house salad, side of mushrooms (some of the best mushrooms I've had) and we also had a main of meatballs, and the salt and pepper squid. All were cooked and served to perfection.
Finished off with a hot chocolate that was to die for! The decor is relaxing and the tables are well set out. The service is definitely 11 out of 10! I will definitely be back! Thank You!

I'm not sure why this pub is listed under romantic & intimate. Sure they have candles on the table, but at the end of the day it's a pub and the beer garden joins the restaurant. I think it is better suited for groups. The food is fine but in my opinion it's over priced and I wouldn't chose to eat there again for that reason.
