An excellent place and the fact the weather turned itself on for us was even better. We shared the bruschetta and it was perfect. The Haus pie was great and we all loved it. There were actually some vegetables with it which is fairly rare these days. The other meals ordered were the roast beef and a steak sandwich. They were both huge. Wine prices were fairly good, however, they wanted to charge us $15 per bottle corkage which we thought was a little steep.

The service was friendly despite the hordes of people they were dealing with. They messed up our order, however, and we ended up waiting 2 hours for our meals.

I first went to the Haus for a work retreat so we ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have to say that I have been dying to go back ever since then and finally went for breakfast on the weekend. Their food is always amazing, so fresh and flavoursome and with really good quality ingredients.

Portions are generous but not ridiculous, and good value for the price. I like that their menus (especially breakfast) have lots of variety, and dishes that I like without being 'weird' - i.e. gourmet versions of bubble and squeak and savoury mince on toast for breakfast. The staff are also excellent, we must have had 5 different servers attend to us for breakfast, but they all seem to know what's going on and we didn't have any stuff ups.

The staff are obviously experienced, they're very attentive without being pushy, and always seem relaxed. Even the kitchen was quiet! I can't recommend this place highly enough, I'm sorry that I can't eat there for every meal!
