Steak came with blood oozing out of them, food was not up to standard and over priced will not be going there again.

This place has a well earn reputation for awesome steak. If you're after a salad, go elsewhere. If you're after a piece of meat that reminds you of something out of Asterix and Obelix then this is where you should go. Last visit was for a 1.2 kg Rib Eye, definitely something you normally come across on a menu. Try and book ahead as I've missed out before through lack of planning.

Had dinner there the other night. I wasn't in the mood for steak, so ordered their spatchcock. It was overcooked, tough and flavourless, as well as being a rather small portion size. Very disappointing considering the price they charge. I won't be back.

Visiting family, decided to take them to this restaurant for something special. We had a wonderful experience, arrived at the restaurant for lunch. Two of us ordered the Wagyu Steak and others ordered the prawns. Both meals were cooked perfectly including all entree's ordered.

Where this restaurant really impressed us was how they bent over backwards to assist with meal alterations for my fiance as she has Celiacs. Unlike some restaurants, Gaucho's went out of their way to ensure we had a fabulous experience. We will be back.

Service was rushed and not attentive. Steaks no where near what they were a few years back. The place is no longer special except that the Bill was double that for this type of service, $180 for two for small entree, steak meals and a bottle of very average local red wine. Much better value down the road!
