I recently visited Fino for the first time after hearing many glowing reports. What a fantastic experience! You will need to book ahead as they are always very busy, when our party of 4 arrived the very friendly and helpful Sharon offered us the choice of inside seating or outside on the terrace with a view of the kitchen garden. It was a lovely sunny day so we sat outside.

We dispensed with the menu and just ate what the Chef (David) sent out. All the dishes were seasonal displaying fresh, well balanced flavours. Personal highlights were the minced rabbit and pickled pork's cheek with confit rabbit legs and the crispy duck. Desserts were fantastic too. I have to also mention that this is the first restaurant of this caliber (and higher) that I have been to where the coffee served at the end of the meal was up to the quality of the rest of the experience. I cannot say the same about Tetsuya, Est or Guillaume at Bennelong.

There is a good selection of Australian and international wine, that you can either select yourself or let Sharon, who has excellent knowledge select some for you.
Loses a point for ambience as someone at a table nearby was smoking. In all, an excellent experience. Highly recommended and I cannot wait to go back.
